Mom has not been on Dogster so much these days, very busy for one thing, and still dealing with losing me. I wish she would not be so sad, but it seems to be a process these humans has to go through, feeling all that pain. It has been hard for Mom to be on my page and look at my picture. And we do once again thank all for your great kindness. Mom started doing more thanks tonight and we received terrible news that a good furriend of ours, Duncan, from Doggy Connection, wandered away from home and fell into a neighbors pool and drowned. His sweet life ended at 8 years old. Mom surely knows how devasted his parents are. She knew my life was coming to an end as surely as she knew anything, but to lose a furbaby suddenly in a tragic accident is another thing entirely. Posted here is Duncans page, please go there and leave some words for the family. You never know when tragedy can strike your own fambly. You do all you can to keep them safe and disaster can still happen, just like the time our labbies was nearly killed from antifreeze. We got lucky that time. We are blessed for ever day our famblies remain safe and with us. It was also only a month ago that Doggy Connection lost beloved Lassie, and also recently Rebel, a good pal also, and we also lost Sheba, a good furriend. She passed the same day as I did, an hour apart from me. It has been very trying times. I have been playing with my bridge pals some but not so much with Mom busy. they surely did give me a nice rousing welcome there and are really the friendliest bunch ever. I must get back to fly with them and say hi. Mom has just not had so much heart to be around these days. She will get better though I will see to that and her heart will be healed and we will play again.
