Likes: Escorting groundhogs and squirrels off the property and snagging if possible, but he has slowed down considerably. We were always sad when he caught something.
Pet-Peeves: When he could not catch the groundhog. Fireworks and thunderstorms.
Favorite Toy: Not toy oriented. He likes to herd my friends goat. When the Lab girls play, he stands around on the outskirts and barks like Lassie.
Favorite Food: Garbage! As gets into whenever he can. He is otherwise perfect.
Favorite Walk: Anywhere his leash takes him. He LOVES to ride.
Best Tricks: Falling down and playing dead when I "threaten" him with a pointed finger: "If you ever get in the trash again." .......
Arrival Story: Billie-Bob is my Acme dog. I went for groceries one day about 14 years ago and came home with a dog. Found a 6 mo puppy roaming the parking lot, trying to scavenge food from shoppers. He then found his way into the store and was rudely chased out. It was meant to be; he was still cruising the parking lot when I came out and I just loaded him up with the groceries. He was thin, starving and filthy, and ate every meal like it was his last for a long time. He has been the best dog ever, the sweetest most mellow fellow you could ask for. When he is feeling playful, he does a real good Lassie imitation! He also works for a living, but not so much these days with his Mom, Leslie Fisher, Pat Miller Certified Trainer, at Look What I Can Do! Dog Training
Bio: well, he has been back and forth to Canada many times to visit with my family, so he is well travelled! One time, upon inquiry of his origins, we made up an outrageous fib: "why, he is a rare spotted Himalayan Herding dog." But, we are proud to say, he is 100% All American Heinz 57, and love every considerable inch of him.
Billie also is a huge help with his Moms dog training business Look What I Can Do! Dog Training. As the most mellow fellow ever, he is a great dog for training with dog-reactive dogs. He stays calm no matter what and I can count on him absolutely. He is the best dog ever. Since the last Best Dog Ever.

I should really be cross with Mom for not getting to my page but I could never do that, after all, she has her hands full with those three labbies these days! I heard her say more than once about me being low maintenance or something like that. And how she wishes she had at least one Billiebob. Thanks ever so much for thinking of me on my birthday, all the pressies on my page and wonderful messages, really too kind of you all. Means a lot to Mom that I am still remembered. She says I was that kind of dog.

I surely has been a busy angel watching over Mom and the labbies, and all my pals. Hey, most recently I sprinkled a whole bunch of angel dust at the wedding of Lexi and Dino. It were a lovely ceremony and I am so happy for those kids. They are gonna have a great life together. That Lexi is always leaving me a thunkity and me too in return. Being an angel I don`t get bruises no more.
The big news is there a new brofur in the fambly now, a 4 yo black male labbie named Doobie, that Mom says is just like me, only in a labbie body. She was only meant to foster home, but some things just meant to be and a little angel power brought them together too I think. I hope you read his page DOOBIES PAGE NEW BROFUR and think about rescuing a doggie too. DOOBIES RESCUE GROUPHe come from a horrible place, and probly thinks he about died and gone to heaven he got it so good now with Mom, Bridgey, Talley and that pesky Bagger he very curious about. I can see how happy Mom is with her labbies. She was looking at my happy woof woof face pic tonight a feeling a bit sad, but then happy, because I helped her find Doobie. Here is the organization that rescued him, and here is Doobies page. He needs to gain about 15 pounds, Mom taking care of that.
Mom been ever so busy with her dog training, helping lots of people and doggies. She loves her job. She thinks Doobie is going to be a good dog to help her too, he already learning. A doggy Mom worked with at the kennel climbed right up and over her run and attacked Bridgey in the aisle. She is OK, just a little nick on her ear that bled. She was some shook up but recovered after Mom played with her and gave her extra special treats, and then played with Doobie at home. She and Talley sure love that Doobie. I hovered over and helped Mom to find a cart to drive inbetween them to break up the fight. That dog was not backing down and Bridgey coulda really been hurt. Good thing they was about same sized.
Well I think my typist getting tired. I go and check in on Codeman at DC one last time I stop in there most every night. We gotta keep tabs on Aggie his Mom too. See ya next time huh?
Mom is so much better tonight. And we are so grateful for how the troops rallied to make Mom feel better. You can always count on your Dogster pals. Seemed like only minutes after she came here last night to write my diary, my good pals were coming along and posting loving and supportive comments. We heard from Jerry Lee, we go way back to squirrel chasing days. He left me a star with the nicest message as well. Big Al from DC stopped by, Stryker a pal at the RB, Sophie a great Mutts pal, Hershey and Biscotte from P*I*F, all had such nice things to say for Mom to feel better. Mom could hardly believe when all these comments kept coming in.
The gang at Doggie Connection, where Mom headed when she was down and out, rallied round too. Codeman was there, Barkley, some of our best furriends. Forgive if we do not remember all, Mom ready to turn in and got heavy lids. We loves ya all. Pmails came from Maggie and Millie and Rebel, all so kind. Maggie posted Moms website on DC so we can help more dogs with getting good information. THANKS MAGGIE!!!! Mom is all about positive dog training and I was so proud to go out and do that with her.
I guess thats about it, we just wanted to thank everfur and their great Moms and Pops too. Mom still has trouble thinking how many lives I must of touched. It is very special she says.
Today she took Talley and Bridgey to play in the huge classroom at the kennel, still pouring here in MD and our backyard is all churned up. They had such a good time, happy labbies are they. WE all been over at DC and P*I*F for a bit tonight, had a good time. We just have not been able to get around to all the regular places. Talley misses SBU, I have not chatted too much with pals at the Bridge and so many places we like to go. Oh, I was SO happy to catch up to my dear pals at Herding Breeds. They is a good bunch of furs. Well must let Mom turn in, an early night. She got her new Rally books and Bridgey and her has got some work to do tomorrow. I will be watching. Bridgey think it all play though, Mom make it fun for her.
