Cheyanne joined her fuzzy sister Kittybutt at the Rainbow Bridge In October of 2006 and of course we were just devistated , as our only kids are furry ones. After driving my Mom to Indaina to pick up her new rescued baby boy Schnauzer , I saw they also had 2 baby GSD's running around chasin' cats and having fun. They kept telling me to take them home....But my husband and I decided to give it a little time since it had only been 3 days since we lost Chey...so as we left, both little ones followed us to my SUV and litterally tried to get in. I will never forget how sad I was when I had to leave them behind. After an hour of tears and driving 2 and a half hours back home, my husband saw how down I was and just figured I was tired. He asked if I was OK ,and I said NO and told him my story about my new little friends and how skinny and sick they looked and how bad I felt leaving...So...Having the same love of animals as I, he called me at work the next day and asked if I thought the puppies would still be there. Well, he drove that 2 and a half hours right back there the next day and picked up our little Sasha (the other little girl had already been adopted) and that was the day Sasha rescued us. She has brought much needed laughter to our lives as she is such a little brat....but we wouldn't want her any other way! Cheyanne is watching over us and knew saving Sasha was the right thing to do, so she made sure my Mom needed someone to drive with her that day! The Day Sasha chose us....How lucky are we!! I had a great day.. Even Dozer was nice to me...Problem is... I spent all day watching my back because that never happens.. I was waititng for him to jump out and scare me at any time.. The most paranoid woofday I ever had..
