I originally bought Jake to help (my now ex-)girlfriend with her personal problems. But he didn't help as much as I thought we broke up 4 weeks later. I kept Jake and it was the best decision I have ever made. When I lost my job due to disability and couldn't leave the house for a while he was there for me and kept me alive with my depression. Now that things have gotten better for me I am getting Jake either a brother or sister. He is not a dog to me, he is my little boy!!!!
