Arrival Story:
After one of our rescued greyhounds passed away, my husband wanted to get another dog.He was used to walking three dogs and we could never seem to keep the pack down to less. After five lovely greyhounds and two wonderful mutts, My husband thought we 'd try a different breed for a change. He researched Redbones and we found a family breeding them nearby. So three days after our youngest child flew the coop to Boston , we got a new baby. He was a five-week old pup from a large litter, all almost indistiguishable from next but Bob had the cash in his pocket and told me to pick one. I am reminded of my choice everytime Jake does something outlandishly rambuctious. Most of our days are filled with Jake just being Jake , lovable, laughable, rascally Jake.
