On The Trail, On A Trail Ride!

Heylo pups! Today I went on a trail ride! And just so you city folk know, a trail ride is a thing were humans ride horses and have them pull wagons and sometimes bring there dogs, and act country-like while they ride to some place! On this ride, which is annual, we went 25 miles! Mom walked me and my GSD dog brother, Duke, a quarter of the time, and then we all rode in one of the three wagons another quarter of the time, and then mom rode her horse, Lacey, half the time. Me and Duke didn't like riding in the wagon without mom though... :( But mom let us wear our new cute paw-print bandannas on the ride! It was so much fun with furmily and furends, and we were expecting there to be other dogs on the ride, but we ended up to be the only ones... But we did see some dogs at their houses, like a few labs, and a big dark GSD, just like Duke! And also Duke got to walk with mom offleash, because him and Muffy are the only ones she trusts to go someplace offleash, but Muffy couldn't come. And mom was originally giong to only take Duke, but then she got gramma to say yes to bringing me too! So mom groomed us up nice, and loaded the horses, and off we were! We were so excited to see all the humans and horses, not to mention FOOD! And then we hung out for a while as we waited for the last few humans to show up. Then we met the humans, and saddled up the horses, and mom walked us while all the humans rode in wagons and rode horses! And it really brought out the country gal in me, cuz when we were riding in the wagon with mom, I sat by the driver and his furend, right in between the two seats up front in the wagon, and sat there with my ears up, my cute bandanna, and watching the horses, so into this trail ride thing. :D And once I jumped off the wagon, cuz gramma was passing on our horse, but mom quickly jumped out and got me before I got into trouble. ;) But I didn't like staying in the wagon while Duke got to walk and run with mom offleash behind us. I sat there, watching them so intently, and jumped out a few times to run to them, but mom was scared that I would get into trouble, so I had to stay in the wagon, and they ran behind it really close so that I didn't get lonely. :D And then we took a break at our destination, Hatfield, and me and Duke got to be offleash, cuz we wouldnt even go five feet from mom with so many humans and horses around... and mom and gramma shared their popcorn and burgers with us! :P Then we hit the rode again!
When we got back to great grampas (mom's mom's dad), we hung out for a few more hours, and me and Duke got to meet a few more people and two dogs! We met grampa's big floofy mix, Joe, and we also met our great auntie's dog, Sammy, and she's a bit bull mix! We had fun with them dogs, and then took a walk to the other house, and ran around, getting attention everywhere. And then mom took a nap in the truck with Duke, and I just ran around, looking for kids to play with! :D
And mom was so proud of us, cuz we were offleash the whole time at great grampa's, and where offleash also when we took a walk to the other house, and so when we were on the trail walking back to grampa's, this weirdo human named Jeffey, :P, who is also mom's like second cousin, was riding past on a horse, and we wouldn't stary five feet from mom the whole ride and walk, and he said, "You have the most well behaved and trained dogs in the county.* And mom was very happy to here that, cuz she works very hard on training all seven of us our manners and tricks and things. :D
So basically, its been a very tiring, but fun day! (And horse smellie!)

They've Arrived!

On July 28, my miniature doxie sister, Macey, had puppies! Yay! She had two girls, one golden and one black! Mom was there for the birth! They're pictures will be on her page in a bit! They are called Peka-weenies, a pekingese and doxie mix! They are adorable, but the rest of us dogs aren't aloud to come close to them. Macey is also on special Science Diet food, and in the morning she gets canned meat! The rest of us only get her leftovers, that we must share. Also, our birthdays, which are all celebrated on August 13, are coming up, and our people plan to buy us a lot of treats and make a treat and peanut butter cake with ice cream! Yum! Then we get presents and then play games for the rest of the day!!! FUN! Yea, we can't wait, can you??? Anyways, we will tell you more about it when it happens and if we have plan updates... okay?
