Dr. visit

Well I went to my dr. today and they did all kinds of things to me. I got 2 shots, had a small scraping done on my back and they checked my poo for worms. Unfortunately I have the start of hookworms, but they gave me yummy medicine to make it all go away. When my new family got me, I had a small sore like thing on my back that didn't heal so they wanted to check to make sure it wasn't mange...it's not! Dr. thinks it's just a scar from an old injury. When I got rescued from my family , I only weighed 12 pounds. I am now up to 21.9!!! Dr. said I look great! I got my heartguard meds and frontline. Everyone there just loved me and wanted to take me home!! When the dr. came in to see me she said she thinks I am Whippet/Doberman but whatever I am, I know I am loved!!

No more rocks!

For some reason I love to chew on rocks!! Mom thought she picked them all up, but I found one and secretly snuck it into the house. Well I'm embarrassed to say that it got stuck in my throat! THANKFULLY I threw it up and I am A O.K. Hopefully I have learned my lesson!

Guard Dog

Last night I was sleeping with mom and dad and I went running downstairs at 4 am and started barking. Mom at first ignored me (thought I was playing with the cat) and called me back to bed, so I jumped up in the bed, but kept barking. I went back to the stairs and started barking again. THIS time, Mom got up and looked down the stairs and saw that our front door was wide open and it was raining!! Someone must not have shut the door tight and the wind blew it open! (has happened before) Mommy and daddy were so proud of me for noticing something wasn't right and also for not running away!!! I am always trying to sneak out the door with them, so they were totally amazed I didn't just take off. I made sure I woke them up so they could shut the door. After that I went back to bed and slept till morning! They now say I am their guard dog!!!
P.S. My friend Lucy didn't run away either!!
