Interview!!

Heya pups! Well, tomorrow me and mom are getting interviewed! Yay! We are gonna be in the Banner Journal newspaper thingy thing! ;D

Why?
Well cuz this summer I had won Grand Champion and Highest Scoring Dog in obedience at the fair! And since I am a shelter dog, they want to interview us about shelter dogs - a new theme of the Banner Journal gramma said. So we take questions, pics, and off to be in the paper! (Again I should say)

And then we will tell about it to you afterwards!

Yesterday, August 13, is when my whole furmily celebrated our woofdays, all on the same day! Its just easier that way. ;D
Anyways, first mom groomed all of us, even if we didn't really need it. Then decorations went up, which was only a birthday banner and a balloon... :P
Next we started for the games! The first one was musical chairs, and mom set up six little tables or boxes for us, since there are seven of us. Me, Misty, and Shawty were the first ones out. I think the tables were to small for me, and Misty was just stubborn, and Shawty kept jumping on them, then jumping back off. That weirdo. Then three tables were tooken away, and so only three remained, with four dogs - Petey, with his hurt leg, Muffy, Macey, and Chelsea. For the next round, Petey got out. Mainly because his leg hurt. Then Muffy got out... and then Chelsea got out... and finally, Macey won. It was a fun game, and each of us got a little biscuit, and Macey got a large one. Lucky her!
Next, we took a walk down our long driveway, all the way to the pond. Macey rolled on a dead frog also, as you can see in the video! Shawty played get the stick in the water, and swam pretty much the whole time, were me and Misty just went in chest deep. Nobody else wanted to go in. Chelsea also got stickers all over her, so she had a double grooming... ;D

When we got home, we took a break, and then started the next game, which was obedience competition! I'm so very good at obedience, with an advantage of three years of training. First we did sit, which Shawty was the first one out because we wasn't paying attention. Then we did lay down, which everyone stayed in at. So then we did stay, which everyone stayed in at also. Then we did come, and Petey got out. Poor Petey... Next we did roll over, which got everypuppy out but me and Misty! ;D And there was nothing else left, so me and Misty were declared the winners! Yay! Everypuppy got a little biscuit, but me and Misty each got a large one! Yum! Then mom read us a few stories from the book "Chicken Soup For The Pet Lover's Soul", which was awsome. And next opened our presents! Everypuppy got two meaty mini treats, and some of us got a toy, a ball, or a bed! Funness! Then we had a few treats while we waited for gramma to come home.

When gramma came home finally, we quickly had our cake, which was made of rawhide, beef chunks and sticks, crunchy sticks, t-bone shaped soft treats, canned dog food, mini biscuits, peanut butter, and cookies and large biscuits at the side, and mom made it the night before. It was awsome! Then mom and gramma moved the kitchen table and layed down a blanket while we all watched Greatest American Dog together! Yay! We loved to see Leroy's painting, it was really neat... :D

Sooo... my point is that we had the best Woofday ever!!!

Town Walk!

Today mom took me to town to walk with her best friend and her husky, Kess. We had fun, but Kess had to go back home, because she wasn't behaving all that much, according to mom's friend... ;) But I also got to meet a real police dog, who was also a German Shepherd dog, and looked a lot like me! He was a nice dog, and is currently training to be a better police dog. Fun! Anyways, we walked around town while mom and her friend talked about dogs and summer, and made a couple dumb videos! :P And mom caught a few pics of me. We also hung out at Kess' house for a while. Then we had to go back home, so that mom could plan for my, Misty's, Chelsea's, Shawty's, Petey's, Muffy's, and Macey's bday pawty! Our real bdays are actually spread apart throughout the year, but mom and gramma celebrates them all in summer, on August 13! We have plans, and games, and presents, and cake and ice cream! Yay! Anyways, yea, talk later, cia!
