Likes:
he loved destuffing squeaky toys!

Pet-Peeves:
hot weather

Favorite Toy:
anything that squeaks- and it's double the fun if it RUNS and squeaks :)

Favorite Food:
what wasn't his favorite? - he didn't like lettuce, broccli or pretzels- anything else was good eatin'

Favorite Walk:
block patrol- had to make sure he knew EVERYTHING that was going on in his 'hood :) or Footbridge park

Best Tricks:
give paw, speak (more of a 'roo-oo')

Arrival Story:
in 1990 Hopatcong had it's "first annual" (and only) "Hopatcong Winter Festival". It wound up being one of the winters where there was almost no snow and the lake didn't freeze well- the festival was show-casing (among other things) Siberian Husky sled dogs. One of the mushers had a crate outside his van with 2 puppies in it- I saw those dogs and really wanted one- I brought all my siblings over and then we converged on Mom & Dad- after quite a while of talking with the breeder Mom & Dad were convinced (it also helped that he was born on my parents wedding anniversary 11-21 - it was fate) and we took the little guy home :). He became my dog at some point- but was always considered a family dog- and he loved my father something fierce.

Bio:
Sundance was my first and best dog- my heart dog- I miss him. He was in my life for 14 years- almost to the day. He was an endless source of amusement and love and joy. Sundance taught me a lot about siberian huskies and I will always have them in my life. The "doggie dynamics" of playfulness and energy reflect how he was later in life- when he was young he was full of energy and loved to play- he's always been calm, very intelligent and only moderately affectionate :) *** I'll see you again someday, my friend, until then- you will always be in my heart.
