Going to the Bridge

Yesterday I joined my old pack that were waiting for me at the Bridge. Shep, Clyde and Bonnie have promised to take me hunting as soon as I know my way around up here. They say they have been waiting for me to lead the way as I always liked to bark and get everyone excited and ready to dash up into the woods. I think I can smell those varmints now! Come on guys!

Christmas is just around the corner

Can't believe another year has almost gone by. Lost a dear sweet hound sisfur, Bonnie and got a wild and irritating Molly in her place. Humph! Soph just got settled down to where we could be friends and now another pup, what was Mom thinking! All pups do is upset the household and I don't like to be upset.
After this I'm telling Mom...'No new pups!'

I hope we get some snow for Christmas. I love to roll around in the snow. Glad my background has snow on it. So ho ho ho Merry Christmas to all you pups out there...and remember to be nice to the old dogs in your households.

Hmmm, Amateur Hour

Ok, now I'm all for doing it yourself, but did Mom have to go all the way on my page. Humph! It was bad enough with the falling pumpkins that you can't even see what's on them...it's supposed to be my face but looks like a bunch of wiggles. She also went cheap on my background. Now Mom, I luv ya, but you're no artist. Why couldn't I get a really cool background with a real halloween pic? Can I get a do over ?

I't wasn't my fault:(

It was Bonnie's fault, she dared me and said if I'd roll in the dead thing she would too...so I did. Then when we got back to the house Mom took one sniff and boy were we in trouble! We both got an outdoor bath with the hose and some soap, but it didn't really get rid of all the smell. So now we smell like wet stinky dogs instead of just stinky dogs. BOL!

On Patrol.

I took it on myself to go on patrol around the yard this evening and good thing. The coyotes were out in force. They were howling like crazy out in the fields. Luckily I was there to sound an alarm and talk a little trash back at 'em. Don't want to let them pesky critters get to cocky. This is our territory!

Mom said she was glad to have such a good watch dog like me around.

Gots me a little tumor

A while back Mom noticed I had a lipoma on my left stifle area. She hates to have lumpies on any of us but the vet doesn't like to remove these kind of tumors unless they are really causing a problem so Mom's just going to watch it a while to see how fast it is growing. Several of my furblings have had them removed when they got to bothering so we really don't think it's a big deal so I'm not worrying about it, at least not much.

Hey, Mom tried to do my page from scratch. She's not exactly sure why it looks the way it does but she thinks it's kind of cool.

About time for our walk before supper. Come on Mom! Let's go!

Holidays

So far things have been pretty quiet, and that's fine by me. I'm not really into lots of strange people being around. There's been plenty to bark at after dark so that's all good. Love to do the barking thing. Mom's been putting me out with Lex and Ram during the day some and I always enjoy that. Lex is way cool to hunt with, she has so much enthusiasm, reminds me of me in my youth. Not that I'm saing I'm old or anything, but the house and my chair seem awfully nice on these cooler days as long as I can keep that pesty Soph from bothering me.

Mom just redecorated my page for Christmas. The only thing she still needs to do is change the music out but she likes Neil Diamond so much she wants to leave him on for a while.

The Latest

Well, I guess it's about time to write in my diary again. Not a lot going on, just the usual barking at anything that seems out of place, including any varmint that happens by. Last night lil sis Soph got in troubies again so that was worth a good laugh on my part. She is such a pain . Mom let me out into the farm yard to run and bark at varmies with Lex and Soph ran out too. While Mom was petting Rambo, Soph found a dead snake Lex had killed and started trying to eat it. Did I say she was stupid already. Well, this speaks for itself. Mom saw her and the chase was on. It was hysterical. Soph was running away from Mom with this two foot snake hanging out of her mouth and flapping back and getting stinky snake smell all over her. She finally dropped it and Mom got her back into the house yard but it was too late, she already had the bad stink all over her.

Wonder if she'll ever wise up.

My kill

I don't want there to be any confusion here. I killed the rat. There is no way lil sis Sophie killed anything and don't let her tell you any different.

I keep telling Mom there's something wrong with that little puglet. Everydoggy knows you don't eat rats. You kills em, you don'ts eats em.

The garage.

I've decided the garage isn't such a bad place. It allows me to get away from lil sis Sophie. So's I's been askin Mom to let me out a lot more than usual so I can go get in the garage and hang with Lex and Rammy. We're the best hunters anyway and we have a great time sniffing up varmies as much as we want.

I'z like the cooler wet weather but I'z has to be careful and try not to get too wet and dirty. Since I'z got kind of longer hair Mom is always watching when I come in to see if I need drying off. She doesn't like me tracking dirt and mud into the house...like the other dogs don't got dirt too. Hmph!
