Yuck... it's been 90's + for wayyyy too long! it's hot humid and yucky! Where's the snow??? Mom says this is a season called "simmer" and i can see why! yick! Although i love all the bugs and furry small animals that are around to chase...but i'm not sure i can handle the heat of this "simmer" season. We had a really great thunder storm last night with high winds and some rain and today it's cooler! I love thunderstorms! Since mom finally fenced in the yard me and Mina love to spend time outside... as much as we can... but not when it's yicky hot- then we want to come inside real quick! Well- gotta go outside to chase butterfly's and groundhogs while the weather's nice! till later - Roo-oooooo!

We've been having so much fun playing in the snow that i haven't had time to update- we had THE BIG ONE... almost 2 feet of snow last month- mom says she's getting the pictures developed and she'll put them up for me when they get back- it was HUSKY paradise!! it was so deep Mina and i had a hard time getting around... just going out for a walk left us happily exhaused! we went in the back yard and played with Perrin. it was GREAT! Roo!
Then it slowly went away... it was very warm for a while and most of the snow melted... but then between last week and this week we got more snow and it's white again! White and beautiful and SO MUCH FUN!! Mom and Mina are telling me there's more snow on the way- i don't want this winter stuff to end!
Gotta go now... there's fresh snow to kick around and play in! Roo-oo.

Playing in the Snow!

It snowed about 1-2 inches on Sunday night and Monday morning was big fun in the husky house :). Mina and I ran outside and didn't know what to do first- lick the snow, eat the snow or roll around in the snow! Everything is so much more fun when there's snow! Well... then we went next door and played in the fenced in yard with Perrin (he's an honorary snow dog). He loves the snow as much as we do. What a surprize! We chased each other around and rolled around and then Perrin and I pinned Mina on the ground- then she wiggled free and ran around some more! so much fun! Mom and Mina say that sometimes is snows even more and I still can't believe it :) can't wait- Mom says she can't wait to get pictures of me in the snow.

My very first look at snow...

Mom was all excited this morning... she was talking really fast and saying how wonderful it was... then Mina got all excited... and I wondered what all the fuss was about. Mom said something about something called snow but I didn't know what that was and why is was great... until I walked outside! It was super!- the air was nice and cold- just how us huskies LOVE it and there was this white stuff coating the ground- it wasn't much but in my book it was fabulous! I walked out into the yard and look a good long sniff ***sniff, snuffle, aaah choooo!*** the white stuff got up my nose and it was really cold- then I tasted the snow and it was all cold and tingly on my tounge- I made a face and my mommy laughed. Meanwhile Mina was going crazy- I thought I was going to have to call someone- she was rolling around and flipping little bits of snow in the air and licking the snow- she seemed to be having a blast and the mood was catching- I began running around and diving into piles of leaves coated in snow- snow is fun! And the cold is right up my alley! Mommy was laughing and telling Mina and me that we are silly dogs and she was so happy to see us having a good time- finally in the cold where we belong... can't wait till the snow gets deep- Mom says the snow can get so deep that it might cover me! That's a little unbelievable but we will wait and see!
