A Poem For The Lost.

They came without warning, or warrant, or reason
And tore me away from my family's arms
Labeled a monster on just my appearance
Not taking to account that I've never done harm
Thrown in a cell with grey walls and no windows
I'll never again get to see a new day
With time and date set I am left in the darkness
No comfort nor mercy will come now my way

The hope in me dies as I watch those before me
Taken through a door where they'll never return
Small pups, just days old, taken to the slaughter
Not even allowed their first glimpse at the world
For a moment theres light that pierces through the darkness
Smiles and hands that I know reach out to me
But it's not long till I notice the tears on their faces
And I know this goodbye is the last one I'll see

"We tried and we fought" Their words filter to me
"But they would not see sense, nor the wrongs they commit
You'll be in our hearts and never be forgotten
Your still our good girl" They sob as I sit
An ache fills my heart as I know I will leave them
Wanting nothing more strongly than to stay at their sides
Wrapped in this moment with love all around me
I know it's not long till I'm ripped from their lives

Hands draw me away from the grip of my loved ones
And I watch as they crumple and I'm pulled away
As my fate draws closer my soul becomes weary
I know what is coming for me this dark day
The prick of a needle then nothing but coldness
Shadows seem to case me as my will slips away
Last thoughts of the family I leave behind me
Let me know at their sides I always will stay

Sobs fill the halls as lifes breath leaves her body
Another dog killed for no sin of their own
A weight fills my chest for the question I'm given
An answer to which pains not my heart alone

Lotsa Fun in th Sun

Hello Everyone!

I've been having a wonderful time lately, so I figured I should post a diary about it and share all my wonderful fun with all of you.

Lately, I have been going for lotsa car rides. Literally everyday I have been going for them. Cause' daddy has been picking mommy up for work lately , so he has been taking me with. Both when he drops her off and picks her up I have been riding along. Boy OH Boy do I love car rides. I like sticking my snout of the window and getting a wiff of all the smells of the world. It keeps me up to date on what going on outside my house. He-he its good to keep informed. One time though when daddy was dropping off mommy, the window was rolled down a little too far in the front seat, and I didn't want mommy to leave me, so I jumped out the window(the car wasn't moving yet) and I followed mommy into work. She didn't even realize it until she felt something leaning against her leg. Yes, I am a leg leaner and foot sitter onner. I also like to pretend I am a lap dog. Sometimes though I get too excited during the car ride, and I like to jump at the cars zooming by me so fast. I get in trouble for that because mommy worries that I would chase cars if I ever got off leash. Not to mention I sometimes accidently poke holes in mommys leather seats from jumping. So now I have my own very special blanket to sit on in the back seat.

I heard something about mommy and daddy have some long erons to do tomarrow, so maybe I can go on a car ride tomarrow too with them. Hopefully its not too hot so I can accompany them. If I do its gonna be a long ride cause I heard something about a Wal-mart run tomarrow.

Also, just the other day when I and daddy went to pick up mommy. Mommy bought all of us Ice cream. I had my very own cup of it. The kind I got was Orange Twister. Its oranger sherbert and vanilla ice cream all twirled together. Isn't that so cool? It sure was delicious.

Other than all the car rides and treats. I also have been going to the lake a lot lately. I love swimming in the lake with mommy and daddy. I be sure to never let mommy go too far out. When she does I grab the leash thats nearest to her hand, and I pull her up to shore. Mommy says its the cutest thing, but she doesn't realize I am serious about saving her from drowning. I love swimming though, except those pesky little perch and sunfish always go after my shiney black nails. They kinda scare me, are they suppose to be an animal? If so why are they under water, and where is their fur!?!

An yesterday I got to go on a long walk on the trail all the way down to the peer. It was so much fun. I was on the long leash so I was bouncing through the grass just like a bunny rabbit. Mommy called me Bugs Bunny. Supposidly that is some sort of grey rabbit thats on tv. Who ever heard of a rabbit being on tv!

So that is how my life has been going lately. Quite fun indeed, and very entertaining. Mom says that its good for a youngster like me to have entertainment in my life. If thats so how come I haven't been getting any dog biscuts or rawhides lately? Hey, maybe thats why mommy is going to walmart tomarrow to get me some. I sure hope so, I will just have to keep my paws crossed.

Been Far Too Long!

My poor neglected dogster diary. I hope mom is happy with herself,because she hogs the computer I never get on! So unfair.te-he but I cna't complain to much cause majority of the time she is on the computer she is doing research on a possible new family additon :).

I always thought mama wanted to get another pit bull for her next dog, but turns out she may be adding a new breed to the family. But who knows for sure what that will be I have heard her talk about HUMUNGO dogs like English Mastiff , and just average large dogs like Rottweliers, Shiloh Shepherd, A Long haired Red Siberian Husky, Alaskan Malmute(papa's birthday gift..shhh! don't tell ;)), Cane Corso Mastiff, Belgian Groenendael too medium sized dogs like Chinese Shar Pei, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. Boykin Spaniel, Miniature Australian Shepherd, to smaller sized dogs like Bulldogs, Black Pugs, even a yorkie poo one time. But now she is talking about something called a ETP?? She showed me a picture of one, and I told her it looks like my stuffed snuggle monkey ..BOL! But she sounds serious about it cause she contacted a few breeders :) But she said I gotta wait a good year or two before I get a new little bro/sis. :) Mama don't you understand, I don't have patience for this.

Anywhoo, other than tho whole new sibiling thing. Everything is going pretty dandy. The new kitties are adjusting to the house very well. One even thinks he can sleep in bed with me...darn that cat...tehe actually I like having his company don't tell him. cause you know dogs and cats are supposed to be "enemies" hehe

I haven't been able to go on walks lately with mom because the weather has been way to cold for my feetzies to handle. So instead I have been able to have the ability to strew all the rugs around in the house, and actually play with my squeeky ball. Daddy even threw it for me once...hehe mama didn't know though until she heard a crash. I thought she was gonna be angry, but turns out she just laughed :)

Well it looks to me as if mama and dad are gonna watch a movie so I think I am gonna go join them :) I am off and away.

Christmas Time and The new year!

Ello Friends ! [:

Boy oh Boy did I have a great christmas...I got to celebrate it two times ! On christmas eve day Mommy, Daddy, and I went over to granpa and granmas. An I got a big doggie bone filled wit meat from them! It was so good I ate it in two days...te-he.

Then on actually christmas day we all went over to granma and grandpa lowry's. I got to meet two new doggies there one is Spunky she is a Chihuahua, Siberian Husky, Jack Rusell mix, and I got to meet griffon who is a fawn w/ black mask pug ! It was so nice to meet new friends on christmas day. The best part about dinner over there is I got my very own dish of mash potatos and gravy! M.mmm.M! I love gravy♥

For christmas gifts from mommy and daddy I got
• A pretty pink collar that has little white bones on it. (Mommy said later on I may even get the matching leash)

• A green squeeky toy, boy does it make some weird sounds and its very loud. That thing is more annoying than me sometimes hehe.

• A Pink teddy bear that has a squeeky in it. I love to snuggle with it every night.

• I got a big bone from mommy and daddy too ;)

All I all I had a grat christmas.

Now as for the new year...My new years revolution is to cover mommy and daddy in more kisses than i did last year !

Its been a long time.

Hello Everyone!

Boy oh boy has it been fur-ever since I have written in my diary. As for my last diary was about my frantic vet rush well let me tell you things are doing much better for me [:.

So much has changed, and so many things to write about. Oh boy well let me start with I have two new kitty brothers. Ones name is Eminem he is all white with curly hair he is a La Perm. An then there is Bella(girls name I realize but shelter gave it to him-we call him Bell) he is a norwegian forest kitty. Oh an't it exciting! :)

O.o lets see what else. Well I will just start from where I left off. My summer went fantastic. I got to go swimming everyday in the lake. I got a whole bunch of new toys. My newest ones are a green squeeky frog. Mum calls him froggers. A pink and blue rope toy. A pink squeeky flamingo which is my absolute favorite. I also got a brand new collar is bright pink with little white bones on it. Its pretty darn schnazzy.

Also over the summer I got to go to the animal shelter with mum and meet lots of new doggie friends. We even brought one home and fostered him. His name was Duke he was a very big and mighty handsome pit bull terrier. We couldn't keep him thought cause mummy said we couldn't financially aford another sibling. Which is okay I suppose cause mommy is my mommy!I also met lots more dog friends on my walks. I met these two comical shar peis name lola and goliath. A little pomerainian named pippy. And a big great dane named Hubble. *So handsome ♥


After summer ended and this white stuff came. I have been outside moving snow with mom and dad. I just eat it, but they use these big shiny things with sticks on them to move it in a pile. Which fascinates me cause I don't see how they can stand not to chew those sticks!

An now its almost thanksgiving...which means GRAVY! oh boy do I love gravy over turkey... mmmm.m!

I sorta getting sleepy, an mommy and dad look like they have some extra room on the bed. So I think I am gonna go snuggle bug.

An Early Morning Vet Rush!

Hello` Everyone!

I do have some news, but I will explain how it all happend first. One morning, I was not feeling very good at all. My back legs, and hips hurt so badly I couldn't move at all. So, I let mommy know I was hurting by whimpering. She came over to my new bed, and saw that i couldn't move and I was in pain. So, she woke daddy up and told him what was going on. So, dad got on the phone an called the vet. There was deffinetly no waiting around. Mommy was very concerned. So, the vet told my daddy to bring me in. So, as mom got my stuff together, dad carried me out to the car an layed me on the seat. Once we got to the vet clinic, the assistent who was taking my temperature was very rough with me. An he was irritating me, an i barked. So, mommy told him to be more gentle. Then my vet came in, and he put an IV on me cause i hadn't eatin or drank in 12 hours. They took some blood from me, and started processing the results. Turns out my results came back very very positive for Lymes Disease :(. So, they gave me some steroid shot so i could walk. An, they also started me on a antibiotic for lymes. Now, everyday for the rest of my life I have to take a very big blue pill twice a day.

I am feeling fine now. My joints don't hurt so much..The best part is I know now how much my mom really wuvs me:]
