Arrival Story:
I had always wanted a Golden Retriever, and I had lost my other beloved friend (Mandie, a Sringer Spaniel). I waited a few months, saw an add in our local newspaper, went to view the puppies, and Sadie picked me. She laid on the couch between my daughter and I, and laid her little head on my knee as if to say, I am yours. She has been a faithful companion ever since, and she is loved tremendously.
Bio:
At an early age, maybe one or so, my son who is a big wrestling fan, taught Sadie how to wrestle. Yep, you read it right..She is the wrestling fool. She will initiate a fight with my son, and carry on, take all the punishment he can administer, without hurting her, and if he goes to put her in a hold, she puts her head on his shoulder, and looks sad, so he lets her go, then she starts all over again. She is a big kid just like the rest of us...A true member of our family, one of the kids.
