Arrival Story: It was FATE! Napoleon was brought home by my oldest daughter from her friend's house who had one last puppy left from a litter of her Jack Russell. I told my daughter that she was going to get us killed by my husband when he got home because we already had 3 dogs and 3 cats at the time and we couldnt have another dog but Napoleon was just irresistable! So we hid him in a closet and when my husband got home I said no matter what happens in the next five minutes or what you hear or see I did NOT plan it! He said..."What did you do?" I showed him Noples and he was like...OH LORD! He couldnt resist either! So, that's how he came to be and we love him like he is one of our kids...take that back, we love him more than our kids! Ha..behaves much better! Bio: This beautiful lady to the top left here(with the perky ears) is Napoleon's better half, she has been in our family about two years now. She is part Jack Rusell and part Rat Terrier. Her name is Dottie and she keeps me straight! Talk about a ball of fire! Immediately began to choke and I freaked out! Called the after hour emergency clinic and had to rush him to the animal hospital! They could not get to it as it had lodged in his trachea and the doctor on call was new and had no clue what to do except send us to Mississippi State FOUR hours away! Not having the money for this trip we didnt know what to do but the vet had one last idea....Napoleon was able to breathe through the small hole in the ham bone but was in pain and the bone would have to be removed one way or another or he'd have to be put down. She tried one last thing...she use a tool there at the office and was fortunate enough to get it out without surgery and Noples recovered fine! Close call!
