Twiggy came to me in June from the Hollister Animal Shelter. She has blossomed from the emaciated scared little dog into a beautiful sweet affectionate companion. She is good with other small dogs and cats. Twiggy has been diagnosed with Epileptic Seizures and needs to be on special enzymes and medicines, so the adoptive family will need to take into consideration the additional expenses for her care. Although Twiggy does fine with other dogs, we feel that due to her medical condition she would do best as the only dog. If you want love and kisses and cuddles Miss Twiggy is the dog for you. Twiggy is at her correct weight now almost 8 lbs. She is doing well on her meds. She is only needing 1/4 tsp enzyme with her meal twice a day.
UPDATE
Twiggy is now up to 6.3 lbs her Vet wants her to gain about another lb or so before he will spay her and get her much needed dental care. She is improving GREATLY.
Twiggy came to me a skeleton of 4 lbs. She is now up to 5.5 lbs and still needs to gain. She is currently eating 3 times a day. It is so hard to not be able to give her treats but everything she eats needs to have the enzyme powder mixed with it.
