Hello!
It has been over two years since I have written in this! That means it has been over two years since I graduated! A few months ago Laure finally was able to talk to my mom after many computer problems (sigh, computers!). He bragged about how great I am, and about how great our work is. The two of us have bonded so well. He told Mommy Joanna that he could see her personality coming out in me all the time, helping him remember her and thank her for the great job she did with me. I' m sure this made Mommy Joanna more than proud. He also sent tons of pictures, and Mommy Joanna learned that I developed a PINK nose!!! Mommy Joanna always told me she wasn't a huge fan of the pink noses, so I hope she doesn't mind that mine turned pink. I'm sure she wouldn't though. After Daddy (Laure) wrote to Mommy Joanna, he bent down and gave me a HUGE hug and kiss from Mommy Joanna, and I could just imagine her giving it to me. It has been such a long time since I've seen her. I miss her sometimes, but I love it here. This is what I was born to do.

Hi!!!!
Yesterday was such a BUSY day I had no time to write!!! Anyway, I'll start from the beginning.
It started as a usually Sunday morning. Laure gave me an extra nice grooming time, so that was nice. I love being groomed! At about 9:20, Laure put me on leash and stood in front of the door. Silly man! Then I heard Miss Yvonne's voice and thought we were going out to work. Hooray! But, suddenly, before I saw Miss Yvonne, I heard another voice. A voice I knew INCREDIBLY well. I heard MOMMY!!!!!!! Suddenly, the door was open and there she was, my old Mommy, in all her glory. Uncle Matt, Auntie Ali, and Uncie Daddy were there, too! Laure gave me one correction for jumping, then unhooked my leash. I was SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO happy to see Mommy!!!!!!!! I did my best Charleston Dance for her, and my bestest love growls!!! I had been saving those love growls specifically for her!!!!!!!
Mommy stayed for about half an hour. Then, she left and I was very sad. I saw her right away again, but I had my harness on, so I couldn't be goofy!! Then the ceremony began. Mommy, Daddy Laure, Miss Yvonne walked out to the stage and I guided Daddy Laure out there. I saw all my friends, Auntie Alisa, Auntie Karyn, Auntie Amy, Uncie Matt, Miss Suzanne...all of them!!!!! They were all smiling!!!! The graduation was very easy. I sat next to Lola (FBL) and Wrigley (MLXG) and just slept the entire time. Daddy Laure got up and made a speech, and Mommy did too. When Mommy got up, I jumped up and stared at her the entire time. I didn't want her to leave!!!!
After the graduation, Laure and I went back to our room and Mommy came quickly with tears in her eyes. This time she brought Auntie Alisa, Auntie Karyn, and then all the Satterbergs, Abby from church, Sean from church, and even Uncie Matt and Auntie Amy came to say hi!!! Boy did I feel special!!!!!!!! I had such a WONDERFUL time playing with all of them!!!!! Mommy gave me my all time favorite toy that I always played with as a puppy in training, and I was SO happy to see it!
Soon the crowds began to die down, and just Mommy, Uncie Daddy, and Daddy Laure were in the room. Daddy (Laure) put me in harness and took pictures. Mommy said I was a BEAUTIFUL guide dog. Of course! Then, off came the harness and Mommy got sad. She bent down and gave me on last, looong, biiig hug. She got up and walked out of the door.
My eyes followed her for as long as they could, and then my nose did. I didn't know where she went. Why did she go?? Then Daddy told me it'd be OK. I looked up at him and knew it would all be just fine.

Hi guys!
Well, the last week and a half has been pretty different for me! Last Wednesday at around 1 o'clock in the afternoon, my trainers (Miss Yvonne and Miss Wendy) took me up to the dorms in the GDA campus. This was exciting, just another working job! Well, they took me into one of the rooms where I saw a man. A big smile was on his face, and he called me to him. Hedidn't meet my gaze though, which I thought was funny! But, this man was so nice and sweet to me, I had to be good! Yvonne and Wendy soon left and I was kept with the manthey called Laurie.
That night I got to sleep on a warm, doggy bed!!! After five months of sleeping on concrete, a doggy bed was WONDERFUL!
The next day Laurie began to do all the things my trainers used to do! He took me out to get busy, and would put my harness on me. This was fine, I really liked him. Whenever I would see Miss Yvonne or Miss Wendy, however, they kept ignoring me, which I thought was pretty rude of them! Laurie just told me that we had to bond, and the trainers had to let go of me!
So, for the past week and a half I've been working with Laurie now. He's blind. I suppose that makes me his guide dog! This real guide work is awfully fun, and Laurie says I'm perfect for him! I really like him!
I also hear rumor that I'll see Mommy Joanna in a week or so. Well, that's exciting! I think I'd like to see her, I miss her, even though this Laurie is really, really awesome!
