Arrival Story:
Jack's best friends were going to be moving and we didn't want her to get lonely for furry friends that she might want to go looking for one to bring home. Our family spent loads of time searching the internet, going to shelters, and checking out many of the adoption days in the area. To no avail- we just couldn't find the right pup that would click. While we love puppies (don't we all?) we were very willing to adopt an adult that needed a forever home. As luck would have it - those same friends that found us "Jack Daniels" gave us a call - there was a male boxer for sale near us. We gave them a call and got permission to bring Jack with us so she could check him out. I guess you could say it was an instant hit! When we found out his name was Capone.. it was karma!

Bio:
Where Jack is bouncy and goofy, Capone is our reserved gentleman. While not a dominate he isn't a complete submissive either. Capone became a "daddy" for the first time this past December and was AWESOME! He even helped with the whelping believe it or not. Cool calm and collected - that's Capone. We are still amazed at the patience he kept with all 9 puppies crawling, chewing, and nipping at him 24/7.

We has sooo much fun this weekend. Mom made us some steak snacks and and and...... then mom and dad and our skin sis took us for a real long walk to the park to see a car show. Well we got there to late for the car show - but that's ok cause the walk was the bomb!
There were so many fun smells and other doggies we passed by it was GGGGrrrrrEAT!;c;

I have to say, I think summer is the best time of year. YEAH SUMMER! Peanuts, popcorn (drool drool) and baseball. When the weather turns nice all sorts of fun happens and the whole family likes going out. Recently, JD and I got to go with our folks and skin kids down the road a piece on a walk to the baseball park. The 13 yr old daughter of one of our friends was pitching with the local girls softball team. WOW! I didn't know you could make the ball go sooooo fast!!!! Although, I really really wanted to help out and catch, I was good and stayed "benched". It wasn't too hard because Mom came prepared with lots of bacon treats stashed in her pocket. The team we were rooting for didn't win... but that's ok ... cause there's always next time. I have a feeling that JD and I can be like good luck charms but only if they keep taking us to the game (chuckle) What do you think?

hmmmmm Maybe this is what they mean about the "Dog Days of Summer"???
