They were advised to wait until the children were older before they adopted a track dog by the greyhound organization. They were, of course devistated. A friend told my mom about several rescue web sites and she began her search.
After she read my bio, then she noticed my photo. I was sertainly a far cry from a 70 pound, practically hairless canine. Dad was less than optimistic when mom called him and asked him to review my profile and get back to her.
My prevoius owner had been ill with cancer and was treated at the same cancer center that my new owner works at. It was like God actually brought us together!
