Arrival Story:
Wow, not something I am really proud of but Justice was 2 weeks away from being neutered, appointment was booked, Shelby was in heat and you can guess what happened :( Justice was only 10 months old and to be honest I really hoped that it would not take but it did and we had 6 puppies on the night of February 14th.

Bio:
We did consult the vet to see if maybe we could go with a 'morning after' kind of thing, but they did not really reccommend it. Shelby would have to go for shots every day ofr at least a week and it is hard on the dog. After a lot of consultation we decided against it and to let nature take its course. I asked a lot of questions and knew what to watch for, explaining the size difference between the two of them. Thankfully, she had no problems and the puppies grew very quickly. We found absolutely wonderful homes for 4 of them. Jon decided that he wanted to keep Piper from the start and after delivering the other 4 one day to the forver homes, we had Piper and Kobe left. I had a really hard time trying to decide where Kobe would go and I just ended up keeping him too. The 2 of them are totally different dogs, Piper a good 3 inches taller than little Kobe ;) You would not even guess they are from the same parents let alone the same litter.
