Bio:
Hi, the people here have named me Spirit because right now I don't have much spirit. But, all the nice people at the Centre tell me that with lots of love and a kind hand, I will forget my past and my spirit will return. A good samaritan rescued me on a highway but he could not keep me and it was obvious to him that I needed people who could help me to trust again. I am a good boy -- I never snap or snarl, no matter how scared I am. I am a mix -- anyone's guess as to my mix and I'm not telling. I might have some Shepherd, maybe some Corgi because I have short legs ... it doesn't really matter now, does it? I am about a year old, although I don't act like a young dog. I hope that once I am comfortable I will let loose ... I want to but I'm still a bit scared. If you are looking for a best friend, I could really use one myself.
