Arrival Story:
I already had/have a Jack Russell Terrier but, my boyfriend had/has a Boston Terrier. He was looking for a play pal for his destroyer/dog. We went into a pet shop and they had a Pomeranian/Maltese mix puppy that looked just like a teddy bear. I wanted that dog so bad but, my boyfriend told me to wait and if the puppy was still there after we went to a few other places, he would buy him for me. He knows I can be really impulsive and he wanted me to think about having a second dog for more than 10 minutes. We went back 2 hours later and the puppy had been sold. I was so upset, I got online and researched the Maltese breed and decided I had to have one but, my boyfriend couldn't spend more than $400.00 on a dog for me. We picked up the local newspaper and every Maltese was either listed $800-$1200 or they just had $$$. The only one we called had $$$ and when she told me she was only asking $350.00 we went straight there. I picked up my precious 9 week old puppy and haven't been happier since.
Bio:
The lady we purchased Kobie from was a very well to do individual. She even paid someone to doggie-sit her two Maltese 4 hours a day, while she was at work. She was only asking $350.00 because she didn't get the AKC papers when she bought her first Maltese but, when she ended up buying a her second Maltese, she tried to locate the original owners of the first Maltese and couldn't find them. I didn't care if mine was AKC registered or not, I just wanted him as a companion. I love Mr. Kobie so much.
