Birthday: July 11th 1999 Likes: WALKING, barking at the postman, WALKING, chasing bicycles, WALKING, stealing socks Pet-Peeves: Being groomed under his "armpits" !!! Being shut indoors when it is wet out. Not getting ALL the attention Favorite Toy: Squeaky furry bones (and socks) Favorite Food: Scooby-Doo biscuits, Bakers complete meal and carrots Favorite Walk: Across the nearby fields Best Tricks: Stealing socks, playing peek-a-boo under his blanket Arrival Story: Quite by chance, while I was sheltering in a pet shop from the rain, I got talking to an elderly lady with a Yorkie. She told me her son also had a Yorkie, that he wanted to get rid of, as they were going on holiday to America and didn't want the bother of kennelling him or fostering him out for a month. I took the phone number and went to see Pepsi the next night. The man didn't even know what breed Pepsi was when I'd rung him !!!!
The family consisted of 5 children a snake ....... and Pepsi.
The man said the children were "bored" with Pepsi and wanted to get rid of him.
Pepsi was the most cheerful of dogs and was soooo friendly. They didn't want any payment for him. He obviously meant nothing at all to them !!!!!
I didn't hesitate. I said I'd have him, and the wife went to collect his things, which consisted of a chewed plastic bed, big enough for a rottweiller, a VERY LARGE rope toy (which he never played with, so I threw it out), AND SOME cat food - which they said was all he ate !!!
I took him home and have now had him for two and a half years. He never seemd to miss them one bit - I wonder why ?
Everyone who meets him loves him immediately.
THEIR LOSS WAS OUR GAIN !!!!! Bio: Pepsi is a largish Yorkie about 12" high and weighs about 16lbs (maybe more!!). He was 5 years old this year (2004).
He is such a good boy and never does naughty things.
He loves to have his tummy tickled, and to be cradled in your arms like a human baby.
He has just recently had a mast cell tumour removed from his side and we are praying he will be okay. I've Been On Dogster Since:
Just wanted to post a quick message to my friend Annie from Rochester in Kent.
Hi Annie - My Mummy told me that you think I am a handsome little fella .... well - THANK YOU :)
Of course I aready know how handsome I am, but it's not often I get told.
Actually Mummy tells me so every day, but it means so much more to hear it from you.
Hope you have a very Happy Christmas.
Aimee and my Mummy send their love too. xx
Love Pepsi xxxxx
Just checked my page today and found I have been given 5 paws. The highest accolade.
We are so proud, and want to thank those who have voted for me.
You've made me a very happy doggie :-) xxxxx
I hate baths. Bathing is for girlies. I like to be scruffy.
Mum sees things differently though and insists I get a bath when I start to pong !!!
Can't see the point of it myself. I immediately go and roll in the garden to get rid of the shampoo smell. I like to feel the mud between my toes.
Like I said - I like to be scruffy !!!!
