Luke Vs leashed, and Tied

Why.. WHY cant i just run from yard to yard?
Guess mom says when i mind more and stop running acrossed the street and to the other neighbors yard.. that is how it is gonna be for me. Im a good pup but i guess the winter made me forget to stay in my own yard. Mommy is planning to retrain me but we shall see....

Luke`s Diary .. was on DOGSTER!!

I mean it was a pick of the day.. or something!! Im sooo excited im running all over the place. I knew eventually they would come around and bask in my young k-9 wit!!!!!!!!!

Luke VS Thanksgiving..

I never thought i would get to know a day called " Thanksgiving " .. It is a day when everyone on two legs gets washed, and dressed nice to meet other memebers of their pack. A pack i guess at some point split up cause it was too big.

I didnt get a first hand taste of it but i sure cant wait for another year of a 20 pound turkey..!! Eating late never really bothered me.. but when mommy made me my OWN special bowl of gravy, meat, and tators...... I thought the warmth of it would send me straight into Doggie HEAVEN........ OHH MAN.. What a wonderful holiday.. The best part is the EATS..... and the fact that afterward.. everyone was up for a nap!!!!!!!!!!!

CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR!!

Luke Vs SNOW

Its white, its cold, its EVERYWHERE.. and kind of reminds me of sand and water...

I can dig in it, run in it, be buried in it, slide on it.. ( dont get me started on the ice ) Playing outdoors is ALL new again! I thought runnin about on the grass was great catchign ball, or that when it became fall how the leaves everywhere rustled under my paws! Great place to hide things.. hehe..

But SNOW is like the best thing to hapen since the word FUN was invented! I didnt know it exsisted until this pased week as it seemed like a blizzard came thru the place. I had NO idea how much running i would be doing until i felt how COLD it was under my paws. Kind of trying to get used to that little problem.. Other then that..

SNOW IS GRRRREEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAATTTT

Luke Vs ChowChow

I guess you could say.. up until a curling event ive been in every way a lab. My mommy and alot of other ppl thought i just had a touch of curl to my tail.. and well that was even normal for a lab. Then it started to curl.. and i mean REALLY curl. Everyone noticed and my mom said its cause im part chow. That the chow is showing on me. She doesnt love me any less but i do look more unique and handsome as i ever had. My tail uncurls when i wag it or sit.. or lay.. or investigate things.. but when im off walking it curls right up!

Guess i can thank my dad for my wonderful tail.. well and for being alive too i guess.. Wherever you are.. THANKS DAD!!!

Luke Vs 6 months..

Can you belive it? I made it to SIX months!! All on my own might i add?
Im a good pup minus the barking, chewing, running off, and barking that i do......

Mommy said its time for me to be 'fixed' and i have NO IDEA what that means. Im sure its something good cause she says she will shower me with treats afterward.. and i get to see my best friend Maddie and her daddy Phil!!!
What more could i ask for?

I think i have a little more growing to do.. but this being a dog stuff.. pieace of cake.. ohh.. did i say cake?

Luke Vs. Barking

Seems there is NO end to the confusion in my life. Mommy wants me to sit, mommy wants me to come, mommy wants me to bark, then wants me not to..!!

Its enough to make me BARKING mad!! All i am doing is letting her know someone i dont know.. or dont like is near. I even warn her BEFORE we leave the car now. You would think i would be commended for my sharp eye and attention to anyone who comes by..

but i get the feeling she doesnt like it.. but im not sure. I still think i should bark and be ever alert for her. I mean she obviously got me to protect her and the kids.. Humans are cooky animals dont you think?

Luke Vs. 5 Months

Five months and still PUPPIN strong !!!! Im still earning lots of new things but i got friends now. Two of them i play with nearly everysingle day. They are Maddie and Kole. I LOVE MADDIE AND COLE. They let me run and run and play and its like for hours too. Cole`s mommy and Maddie`s Daddy enjoy being together outside with us too! Its so wonderful. The best part is i STILL get to go on my walks with mom twice or more each day.
My teeth are filling in and i even started to LIFT my leg to pee like a big boy. I can let ppl know i have to go out with my looks and bark.. Ohh yeah i can bark! I only do it in play and when someone comes over i dont know..

Im getting better at NINJAing food and well what is a pup to do..

Buddy Vs Luke

WOW.. EveryBuddy should get out and enjoy these days outside with someBuddy. I was out for a walk with my mommy when she decided to get over to the lake. She went to the side where Buddy lives. He is a year old Lab and black just like me! He wasnt there but she let me off the leash so i could explore and get a good streatch for my paws.

When mommy is in cleaning mode it isnt very fun for me... so she was letting me have some fun!!!!

I was sniffing EVERYTHING and then i saw my Buddy walking up over! I sat like a good pup and waited until mom said ' Ok '. Then it was a DOGgone good time. We swam, chased, wrestled, fetched, played ALL of those fun doggie games. Then when it was time to go i was ready to lay out the rest of the day while mommy finished cleaning. Man i dont know how she knows what i need, but she always provides it!!
