Yesterday I was Diary Pick of the Day! The one day I go to the vet, come home and mom goes to work cutting the grass - that took 3 hours! Then she was moving furniture all afternoon, THEN she went shopping came home and the storms came in. Arrrgg!! Missed my moment of glory!
Well let me tell ya'll about my vet visit. I didn't have to wear my calming cap! That is a first! I weigh 62.6 pounds! Not too bad. When they took us to a room mom sat on the lift table while her and the vet tech talked. I was concerned by alright. No white eyes, tail was NOT tucked! Another tech came in and I was the same with her. No problems. Then Dr. Mount came in and of course I was a little concerned. White coat and all... Well, mom sat on the floor and Dr. Mount sat on the lift table. I sniffed the stethescope and then sniffed Dr. Mount. I've never done that before. Even in TX I would just shake and hold my breath. Progress right?! Well after my exam, 2 shots and a snot shot (bordatella) I was done. Really? That easy?? Well mom brought me out to the truck so she could pay the bill. In my crate was yummies! Score!
Got home and mom gave me extra pupperoni - my favs. Then Grunt and I played! Mom cut the dog yard with the push mower. That was funny - she's never done a push mower before! Then she got on the tractor and cut the front yard. That took all day - so Grunt and I played and then layed in the sun!
Mom went shopping and came home just in time for the storms to start - there was loads of lightening and I was alright overall.
