Birthday: July 1st 2002 Arrival Story: I am very new to CBR-East, and I have a lot to learn! I am six years old, but I have spent my entire life in a laboratory, and just the other day, I got to see what "outside" really was! Bio: I am slowly getting used to the "outside!" The world sure is a big place! I don't have any side effects from being in the lab - I was used for "training" so when someone needed to learn how to do something new (like maybe draw blood), they'd practice on me!
I actually do not really like to be outside very much! I am very much an "indoor" girl, and I do not go to the bathroom on grass! I have difficulties going to the bathroom while on lead, so I really need a fenced in yard. I like to go on concrete, or a hard surface, so someone with a fenced in yard with a concrete patio would be great for me! I am keeping my crate clean most of the time. I am working on my housetraining. I still am learning how to go up and down stairs. They scare me, so I will not go up or down on my own! I enjoy playing with other female beagles, and often look to them to know how I am supposed to react to things. I would prefer my new home have another friendly female beagle for me to play with. I am sometimes unsure of new people, and seem to have a preference for men. It may take me a little while to warm up to new people. That being said, all I need is a loving and patient forever home to help me continue to learn how to trust, and to show me what a great place the world can be! I've Been On Dogster Since:
