Asta was born December 11th 2006 and has 1 brother, living in Hungary and 1 sister also living in Denmark. Asta stayed here with her Daddy, Mickey, and mum Barbie and auntie Kira - but the 2 girls (Kira and Barbie) did not get along too well, so now Barbie is living with her litterbrother in Germany - Daddy Mickey is the boss, Kira is also from Germany and has just become Danish champion - Asta is also shown at time whereas daddy Mickey is not too keen on all the fuss about showing - but he loves to attend shows as a spectator !
Asta loves everyone - especially kids that we meet on our walks or who come to the house - We have to be careful with Asta as she loves to steal anything she can from the children ! She is still a teenager and will also go into the kitchen and somehow get hold of a kitchen sponge and chew to pieces in the living room and looking totally innocent when discovered .............
Besides walks the dogs also run next to my bike on a daily basis and get exersice this way - Mickey is the one who gets double runs, as he is out with both Asta and then with Kira - I take them 2 by 2, as I cannot have 3 basenjis with me at a time .... but this arrangement is alright for everyone concerned and we meet a lot of people, which Asta likes .........
