What a Weekend

I got a lot of exercise this weekend. I went on a 3-hour hike with my mom on Saturday. I ran through fields of wild flowers and splashed through a couple mountain streams.

Sunday we went to Izzy's house to play. She and I chased squirrels around the yard and hunkered around the dinner table hoping for our parents to drop food on the ground. Despite running around for 3 hours, I was still not tired.

Can't wait for next weekend!

So boring!

Dear diary:

My mom and dad are both home today from work, but they haven't even taken me for a walk yet! I have been trying to play with the cat to keep myself occupied, but he's not having it. I've been so bored that I finally settled down in my crate to take a nap.

What a boring day at home.
