Goober, The Dog, Crazybeast, Your Daughter

Doggie Dynamics:
not playfulvery playful

Quick Bio:
-pound dog

Finding bugs, trying to climb things, trying to fit under the bed, making the humans think she's insane, running in the park with Mom!

Being stopped from eating bugs, not being allowed to destroy everything in the house, the cat's ability to climb out of the way.

Favorite Toy:
The puzzle cube, the big rope toy, and bugs!

Favorite Food:

Favorite Walk:
Grandma and Grandpa's house! They spoil me!

Best Tricks:
Looking wretchedly cute just after doing something very bad.

Arrival Story:
After hemming and hawing for a long time about whether to get a dog, my boyfriend and I decided we should start looking at puppies. At the second pound we went to one day, we saw Clover. She had arrived an hour before we had, and she squirmed, licked, pounced, and pranced her way into our hearts (and our home of delicate furnishings).

We love Clover completely and without reservation. That being said, she is an insane beast, and I wonder sometimes if all the lights are on upstairs. So far, she has learned the following from the cat: she should sit on laps of people using the computer, she can fit under the bed. From us she learned: to pet the cat. Unfortunately, the cat does not see being stomped on repeatedly as "petting". A big scardey-dog, on her first night home, she ran and hid behind us when she heard something in the woods. However, often I will hear her snarling, only to go outside and see her face to face and ready to fight earthworms. It's been almost a year now, and we can't imagine our life without our puppy.

I haven't updated here in a while, but I've been having so much fun! I got a new harness and leash, and we've been going walking in parks. Mom says that a good dog is a tired dog. I don't know what that means, I just LOVE to run! It's so much fun sniffing along the trails in the park and figuring out what kind of animals have been there.

Overall, I've been pretty good. They caught me trying to steal from the trash can again last week, and I got into trouble. I couldn't help it, though. :(

Things have been so busy here lately that I haven't had time to sneak in and use the computer.

First of all, I learned how to play with a frisbee! The first couple of times, I had NO CLUE what was going on, but I eventually figured it out! I'm pretty good at catching it, unless it's really really high in the air. I'm not much of a jumper. :(

We also got guinea pigs! I love to sit in front of the cage and touch noses with them through the wire. Mom and Dad always watch me like a hawk, but I just like to sit and look.

I had to go to the vet this week. :( I thought I was going to get a shot, but the lady squirted something inside of my nose instead. I really hated it! But she said I was a good doggie, and gave me two dog cookies instead of just one. :)

Oh dear.

I'm really not sure what I did wrong. Why is it wrong to eat out of the box the cat uses? They seem pretty mad about it, though. :|
