Arrival Story:
Had to return some paperwork to the local Humane Society. Arrived just as the place was opening. Saw Roscoe and immediately fell in love with him. I had 2 cockapoos in the past so I knew what a wonderful dog he would be. He sure has lived up to his name. He is such a sweetie!

Bio:
When I arrived at the shelter he look like the second picture...all matted with long hair. He just got neutered so it couldn't bathe him. I cut most of his hair off. In 2 weeks I'll get him to a professional groomer. It is very hot in Hawaii now so I am sure he appreciated the cut no matter how bad it is.

My Forever Home

Well my military family gave me up and I was found as a stray 3 weeks ago. Lucky for me, this real nice lady ran to my gate when the shelter opened on a Saturday. I've never seen anyone so excited to see me. Without hesitation, she ran to the counter, put her name on a sheet of paper with my gate number on it. The helpers came to my gate and the lady asked how much I weighed since it did not appear in my sign in sheet. Oh boy, was I scared she wouldn't take me home. She asked several people to take me to a scale and weigh me because there is a 25lb restriction at the apt she lives in. Sure enough, they weighed me in and I met the requirements. I was SO excited to now have my forever home.
