Arrival Story:
I had been looking for a companion for Ginger for over six months, and was about to give up, when I stopped at the Animal Welfare Association on a whim. And there was Taz, lying on a fleece bed in a pen with two other chi's who were barking and growling. When I told Taz that I wanted to see him too, he slowly got up and stretched and took his time coming over to say "hi". However, when the worker brought him out for me to see, he immediately jumped in my lap and gave me a kiss. I was hooked. :)
Bio:
Taz was apparently turned into the shelter just before his 8th birthday with the notation that he was not getting along with the other dogs in the household. Well, he not only gets along with and behaves appropriately with Ginger, but also with all of her friends that he has met (8 of them so far). As a matter of fact, Taz appears to have no issues whatsoever. It is sad that someone turned such a good boy into the shelter after 8 years. But, lucky for Ginger and I, because we love him to pieces. (Well, Ginger will learn to love him to pieces. :) ).
