Birthday: June 15th 2002 Arrival Story: Introducing MICHELLE - the beautiful five to six year old Cocker Spaniel girl. Michelle is very much a dog who craves being around her people, she will follow you from room to room and is always looking up to you for your approval. Her most favorite thing (next to being with you) is to carry her toys around in her mouth. Michelle is not dog friendly and we believe she may not have been properly socialized by whomever had her as a puppy. She gets possessive over her toys and her space and she absolutely needs to be the only dog in the home. Bio: If you sit down on the floor, she gets so happy and takes a running leap into your lap and nestles her head into you. She literally won't move for as long as you are willing to sit there and pet her. She just craves human affection and would do best in a home where someone is around a lot - perhaps someone whom either works from home or is retired? Michelle does need to see an eye specialist as she has a partial cataract and a cherry eye in her left eye. We have been waiting to find out where she is going to be permanently living first - so that we don't have to switch eye doctors on her. The cherry eye surgery is easy - but we are more curious to find out if she is a candidate for cataract surgery. If so, Camp Cocker will have to raise funds to pay for her surgery. We would love to find Michelle a home with someone who is nurturing and has caretaking qualities - to help her with her post-op care on her left eye. I've Been On Dogster Since:
