Arrival Story:
After the devastating loss of Reustie, it was hard to think of another mini. Then, one day a WONDERFUL AMSC breeder (SallyDalhke) brought me the BEST news to bring me out of my depression....she had a little bundle of joy waiting just for me, and she felt that we would be a GREAT match:-) After seeing her, I fell INSTANTLY in love and knew she was the mini for me.

I'm currently in puppy classes to learn what being a "lady" is all about... Daddy tells me that after puppy classes, I get to go to more school to earn what's called Canine Good Citizen so that I can become a therapy dog. I told daddy that when I grow up, I wanna help people feel better. He said that that would mean I would have to go to I said, "okay".

Forums Motto:
The Lady Samantha Helen Beckham-Jones

Behind The Name:
There's a special story behind Samantha's name... My favorite HBO show is Sex And The City so, naturally, that's where Samantha Jones came from... Samantha was born on Feb. 21st which happens to be the date my mom passed away (2/21/06) so the middle name, Helen, is my mom's middle name--to honor her memory... David Beckham happens to be my favorite soccer player so I chose to honor him by borrowing his last name... That's how I came up with: Samantha Helen Beckham-Jones!

My papa and "momma" celebrated their 18th anniversary today and I helped them open their presents and cards! I even gave them kisses and snuggles to show them how much I love them and care for them. They take such good care of me. I'm a lucky girl!

I can't wait to go to doggie daycamp tomorrow! My daddy signed me up, again, for the annual Halloween party at daycamp. I have so much fun there with all of my buddies. And I can't wait to see my boyfriend, Andy. His momma told my daddy that he'll be there tomorrow. I'm going as Snow White this year....I even will bring the Seven Dwarfs with me! Daycamp sure is fun.

Woof! That was some serious stuff...

Daddy said it was time to visit the vet so he could be what's called a responsible pet owner. He said that I was going to be neutered and microchipped. I didn't know what that was, but I liked that I was going to see my good buddy, Dr. Jewell! I also had two lower baby canines that were gonna be removed to make room for my big girl ones! When we got there, daddy and I learned that I had to spend the night there...we were both sad:-( We've been together since he brought me home from the breeder. He told me to be brave (and I told him the same).

The next day, he quickly came to pick me up! He was surprised to see how playful I was...I was happy to see him. We went home and cuddled. He treated me to so nana (banana). Then, we went for a short walk to see some of my good buddies. They looked at me funny because of the thing around my head, but daddy told them it's there so I won't get at my stitches.

I can't wait until I'm all healed! I only have one more week to go...
