Well, the dad was rearranging the living room furniture again, and in the process broke the recliner, so it finally got thrown out. The problem with that is, that left him without his fave seat, so he sat in the loveseat. MY loveseat! I was quite startled to see him there, and reported him to the mom. I whimpered at her but she was pretty unsympathetic, in my opinion. She told me to lie down up there with him, but that's unacceptable! How can I stretch out with him in the way? I love my daddy so much, but a girl's gotta have some legroom. The dad put down a blanket where the recliner used to be, and I thought, oh okay, that's great, he can lie down there. Well, guess what? He was putting that down there for me, not him! Ugh. Why would I want to lie on a floor blankie when there's a perfectly good, comfy loveseat in the very same room? The nerve! I punished the pawrents by leaving the room and snubbing them for the rest of the evening.

I blanched when you wrote that a recliner had to be thrown out! I don't know what I'd do without my recliner!

Hope it all works out for you. If your Dad buys a new recliner...claim it as your own. I think they are great. (of course I've never had a love seat)

Bol, Rikee, did you ever see The Dad's recliner on Frasier? I think ours was in worse shape, bol! You bet I'll claim the new one as my own, since Daddy apparently likes me loveseat so much!

Dear sweet Bizkit, Mommy is very sorry that you felt I was being "unsympathetic" to your loveseat woes. I know how much you miss your loveseat, but, Daddy is getting a new recliner for Christmas, so, soon you will have your seat back! You know you are my most sweet girl and Mommy would do anything for you, but, you have to be patient! Now, no more bashing the Mommy on here! Be nice and tell the whole story, you have the loveseat all day when Daddy is at work, and all night while he's sleeping in the bed! Just a few more weeks and you will have it back full time!
