Arrival Story:
A friend of ours at work raises Labradors for field trials. Unlike some breeders, dudley characteristics don't faze him at all. Herschel was one of eleven pups. Our friend originally wanted to keep him and his sister to train, but he was having a hard time getting either one to learn--too much clowning around! Just before Herschel's 6-month birthday, we took a drive out into the country and welcomed him into our little family.
Bio:
Like most Labs, Hersch is a wonderful family dog; within two years of being the sole center of our attention, he welcomed our first child to the family. There's been another child since, and he loves and protects them both.
