Arrival Story:
From Susan-Sassy's Mom----------------- Sassy started to stand very soon after Sherry worked on her through distance healing. She didn't show any signs of being able to use her back legs before that. Sassy just continued to improve. Today she can walk but isn't very stable yet. Maybe she never will be again, but at least she is up and going and not in any pain. Sassy is happy, as happy as before. She doesn't seem to be to worried about her back legs, one of which isn't as strong as the other. She keeps on going as if nothing was wrong. For Sassy to be in a cart is more of a safety issue.It will help to keep her back from further injury while she is stumbling and she will be able to go for walks to strengthen her body. She has lost alot of weigh and muscle and needs to get the strength back. The weight she can do without. It just goes to show how much heart and drive can be in one little body. Sassy is a 10 lb Mini Wirehaired Dachshund. She is a Canadian show champion and has an earth dog title. She loves to swim and chase mice and birds or anything that moves really. She is the perfect definition of a dachshund, a big dog in a little body and ruled by her stomach. There isn't anything she won't eat. I haven't got the heart to tell her she isn't really a German Wirehaired Pointer, like her big brother. She figures whatever he can do she can do. And she does her best to keep up. Sassy loves all people, especially kids and has helped raise 2 litters of Weimaraner pups. Once she gets her new cart I think I will take her to the care home to let her visit with elderly people who are using walkers and carts of their own. I know Sassy would love to do that.
