Arrival Story:
Woody, is a blind and deaf double dapple doxie. He was surrendered because his owners didn't want to spend the time it took to train him to be a house dog! His original family purchased him from a "backyard breeder". They didn't know anything about doxies or that he was blind and deaf, he was a gift for the dad of the family for his birthday. The backyard breeder didn't tell them anything of course. Later, when they discovered his disabilities is when they wanted to dispose of him. I actually meet the mom of the family off the interstate in Brentwood, TN and picked him up. He was very scared and confused.

Bio:
Now, he is the happiest little guy around. He has a pokadot on his nose (white). He takes Prozac and is just the most precious baby you could ever want! I am also Mom to Nigel, standard doxie, Lilly, maltese mix rescue, Chloe, mini dapple doxie rescue and foster Mom to Natalie(who is also blind....double dapple....) and C.A.T. (black tomcat).
