Arrival Story:
Hi I'm Daisy! I was found fathers day by a nice lady who was walking her dog. She took me to her house and let me in the backyard and started feeding me and talking me for walks. Then one day I was loaded into the car and was taken to the vet to be scanned for a microchip. I did have on so the nice lady contacted my owners and told them they had me. My former owner said that they didn't want me anymore because I kept escaping from them. I was only running away from them because I didn't get enough attention and walks though. Anyway, when the nice lady heard that she took me back to her house and I have been in her backyard for about a week now.

Bio:
I still need to find my forever home. The nice lady who has taken me in can't keep me permanently because I'm to big for her. I need a home where I can be an indoor dog and get walked regularly. I absolutely love kids and do well with other dogs and cats. I do have a little problem with dashing out the door if it's left open but the nice lady is working on that. The dog and cat in the picture with me ARE NOT up for adoption

I was found running around a busy neighborhood (it’s right next to a school) on Fathers Day last summer. Hot and thirst, I wandered around looking for a cool place and some water. Luckily that’s when the nice lady (soon to be my foster mom) found me. After asking around to see if anyone knew me she took me home and gave me some food and water.
Well to make a long story short here’s what happened, she took me to the vet and found out that I did have a microchip but my owners didn’t want me any more so she decided to foster me until I found my forever home. About a month later I did! A very nice gentleman and his son came in and where surprised how much I looked like their dog. After spending some time with me they decided to adopt! A few weeks later my foster mom did the follow up call and I was happily living with my new family and canine buddy.
To me adoption means a chance at a new life, my previous owners didn’t want me because I kept running away and I needed to much attention. My new family gives me lots of attention and walks and I have a canine buddy to play with.

Last Saturday my foster mommy brought me down to the SPCA and had me put in the system. Now whenever she volunteers at the SPCA she can bring me along! I've got a kennel card and everything!
