Arrival Story:
Lucy's mother, a full blooded beagle, was found wandering near a busy rural freeway in southern MD. She was picked up by a concerned citizen, and a few weeks later, she gave birth to a litter of 8 puppies, Lucy and her 7 brothers and sisters, half of which share her coloring and half of which did not. In January of 2008, I found Lucy and her litter on petfinder.com. I went to visit her a couple of days later and immediately fell in love!
