Summmmmmmeerrrr!

Yeah! Its summer! Mom says we'll get to go to the park more now that its warmer! So far this summer I've been kinda lazy. It's tiring being me so I have to nap a lot. My favorite time to nap is when mom is napping, and that's usually on the weekends. We watch the Cardinals games and nap usually.

I've spent a couple weekends with my grandma and grandpa seeing as mom's been going camping and floating on the Meramec. Mom says as soon as she gets me a life jacket I can come along, but I don't know. I'm not really a fan of water. But I love mom so playing in a canoe with her would be fun!

Ok, its off to be mean vicious watch dog now. Or nap...one of the two :)

Spring is here!

Its been so nice out that mom and I have been going to the park for walks. I love the park! All kinds of new smells and new doggy friends to play with.

Other than that, I've just been playing mean watchdog for mom and playing with the cats. I don't think they really enjoy playing with me though but I try!

Mom brought me back some really good treats from England when she went last month. She was gone for ten whole days but called me everyday and had Uncle Neal put the speakerphone on so I could hear her.

Its time to nap now!

Christmas!

I got lots and lots for Christmas! All of my mom's friends who sent her presents sent toys and treats for me too! I'm such a lucky dog! My grandma and grandpa got me some neat toys (one of which I already destroyed!) and my uncle Pat and aunt Kelly got me some fun stuff too!

I played with the greyhounds all morning and in the afternoon I went to mom's aunt's house. I played with her dog, well TRIED to anyways, but Tippy didn't really want to play. So I just ran around to everyone to get loved on.

Then, I slept. For a very long time :)

I don't understand why my mom gets so upset with either myself or the cats try to play in the new plant in our house. Its got lots of pretty lights and shiny things on it. They look like toys! But she doesn't seem to like it when we play in or by it. It wobbled one time when I jumped at it. I bet she would have been mad if it had fallen all the way over.

Mom bought a little sign that says "a spoiled rotten Boston Terrier lives here." I'm still trying to figure out where mom is hiding that other, spoiled dog. I'm not spoiled....just loved...a lot!

I went to my pal Payton's first birthday party on Friday. I was a bit shy because there were lots of other dogs there. But after awhile I opened up. Then I slept for a long time!

That's about all that's going on in my life!

Still guarding the fort

Not much going on in my life at the moment. I am still guarding the house though. Any strange noise I hear, I bark at it. I won't let anything mess with my mom or the kitties.

Mom bought me a new sweater and a santa hat. I don' t like them, but she puts them on me anyways and takes pictures. Maybe she'll return them and buy me a toy. Yeah, I'd like that.

Ok, I'm off to nap now. Its tiring being superwatchdog :)

I am the best watchdog ever!

According to mom that is! Last night around 12:30 a.m., someone tried to break into our condo. I heard them and started barking my little head off! I scared them away! I ran to the door, then ran to the back door to make sure no one was there either.

Mom got up and called the police. When the policeman got there, I barked at HIM until he left. No one is messing with MY home! Then I continued to pace the floor and growl at the door until mom's friend Neal came over and stayed with us. Once I was sure that the condo was safe, I let Mom go back to bed, but I did sit on the foot of her bed and keep watch.

Aunt Steph said she's bringing me bone tonight for being such a good watchdog!

I know my mom (and my grandma!) are so proud of me :)
