Likes:
Mum! (that's me), His toy sheep that goes: "BAA... BAA", food (especial chicken chunkers, or fish), running agility, playing with actual sheep, visiting his best friends, when my people best friends visit

Pet-Peeves:
Being ignored, when big scary dogs try to stand over him, when I get chocolate out of the fridge, Me paying more attention to any other dog except him.

Favorite Toy:
The sheep!

Favorite Food:
Chicken chunkers, fish, bones

Favorite Walk:
He's not fussy. Whenever we go for a walk, he's pretty stoked. Even if it's just around the corner.

Best Tricks:
I need some better ones. So far he does "Bang!" (and dies and rolls over), sit pretty, stand up/dance, spin one way, spin the other way, reverse, crawl, shake, touch nose, kiss, speak, (almost) gruff (not quite a speak), bow, crawl

Arrival Story:
Well! Mum's Aussie recently got back from being boarded when we were on holidays, and when he came back he was all neurotic, so we went to look at these puppies bred by a friend of Mum's from her dogs' brother... And we got in the gate, and this little stumpy-tailed red pup came up and sat on my foot. So, y'know. Then I was all like OMG.. And he kept coming to sit on my lap, but I couldn't even think about asking Mum for him because she wanted a girl and not another boy.. And he was the runt and everything.. Anyway.. then I went on camp for a week, and came back, and Mum was all: "You know that stumpy-puppy?"... "Yes..?" "Do you want him?" And so, because no one wanted to buy him, we drove 8 hours to the desert to go pick him up, and got him for free.. It was meant to be!!!

Bio:
There's probably lots.. Well, ever since I got him, Mallei's been all into obedience.. His Dad, or Uncle or something was like, National Obedience champ by the time he was 2, so we have something to Aim for!!! He's the first dog that's been /mine/.. I always wanted one that, when you get home, someone else would open the door and they'd ignore the door-opener and run straight for me. He does that. At night, he jumps up on the bed and is all happy and says goodnight, wagging and licking... then he'll jump off and sleep near the door... then when he thinks he hears me wake up, he'll launch back on and repeat the thing, walking all over me and licking and wagging. He's such a sweetie. When he reached 18 months we entered our first agility and jumping trial! We've been training since he was about 6 months old, and he was ready about 3 months before our first trial. Our very first trial, we got a clear round and 2nd place. Our 2nd agility trial (that one was jumping), we got the only clear round and 1st place. Right now we've been competing for over a year and a half, and he has his JDM ADX (one pass away from ADM), SPD (one pass from SPDX), GD (one pass from GDX), and one pass from JDO, two from ADO, and we should be getting his Herding Test (HT) title soon, as well as CCD (Obedience) and TD (Tracking). He's such a smart dog, I feel so blessed to have him, and he's so devoted and willing to work. I couldn't deal with having a dog that was unwilling to work, or that just didn't understand what I mean when I teach it something. Soon we're moving out of home, and away from his best friend and Uncle who we've lived with since he came to me, so it'll be an interesting new chapter in our lives! Hi everyone!
I haven't made one of these entries before so I'm a bit worried and I'm sorta hyper but that's ok I'll just ramble on and you can try and figure out when to stop and take breaths because when I'm talking I sort of breathe really fast anyway and then Mum copies me and makes fun of me so then I lick her all over the face until she stops and then it's all good fun.

Phew.
Uuuuuuuum.
Ok so in a few weeks we're going up into New South Wales for a competition, I'm pretty excited and Iknow that Em's pretty excited see cos we've only been competing in agility for not even a year yet and we're already in Masters which is the highest level and we're doing ok like I think we just need to get some more techniques down I know Mum does because she's only been handling for as long as we've been competing and training- which is about a year and a half I guess so it's not really her fault and we're doing well considering how long we've been doing it for!

I've been having a good time lately because we've started visitng this funny place, and Mum takes me in and writes in some book and then for the next half an hour, everyone just pats me and there's like 50 people and we walk around to all of them and they all sit in chairs and have funny sticks that they walk with or things on wheels that I don't understand but sometimes it's like a table on wheels because they put cups of tea on and cakes so while they're busy looking at me and telling me I'm beautiful I sniff their cakes but Mum won't ever let me eat the cakes even though they're right there and I could easily reach and it wouldn't even be a problem she still won't let me eat it.
But it's really fun. Even though some of them aren't very good at patting because they don't use their hands properly, I still get the point, like I know what they want to do but since I'm only young I don't have a very long attention span so I'm only interested in them for a few seconds then I want to go visit someone else but it's still really good cos everyone likes me and there's a lady there who has a pomeranian that growls at me and tries to bite me but since it's so small i ignore it and go and talk to her and she loves it and she always tries to find things to feed me but never has anything but Mum has biscuits in her pouch and then I think we're meant to be doing obedience so then I only pay attention to her and not to the people we're talking to so it's all a bit confusing but I do like it- I always pull Mum right in through the door, like, we're not even waiting around at the car, not even, we're going right in because Iknow there's people in there that want to pat me and talk to me, so I'm ready to go in, right? And I mean I get tired pretty quickly and there's only so much patting a dog can take but it's good cos I know they all enjoy themselves when I come to visit. Phew!

Something's going on tonight too, cos Mum's been buzzing around like crazy and cleaning things and she never cleans anything and Uncle Biscay's mum is gone somewhere with the other dude that lives here so I don't know exactly what's happening but it might be good? Mum doesn't seem distressed or worried or antyhing so I don't reckon I need to be but I am a bit hyper so hopefully we'll go to the park later O.O otherwise I'll have to bite biscay. BITE. Not like, with teeth, don't get me wrong I'm not a very vicious dog, even though I try and take on Great Danes and Newfoundlands who are like, twice the size of me yes I realise it's not very sensible but that's ok. I just bite Biquar's furs on his legs.

Ok time to go! Looks like Mum's doing something.
