Arrival Story:
Candy was an owner surrender to DRNA. She lived with a family with little children, but at one point went to live at the Mother-in-law's house where the neighborhood little boys threw rocks at her. She came back home and loved her own children, but she was afraid and aggressive with neighbor children and she bit a little girl.
Bio:
The owner said she is afraid of boys age 3-8.
Candy loves her family fiercely and the first 24 hours we had her, she wasn't happy to be away and didn't want anything to do with us. Now, a month later, she doesn't want to be seperated from us.
As an only dog, we don't think she was socialized well and she doesn't like it with other dogs roughhouse and play together. She also has a sassy attitude and doesn't respond to big dogs correcting her (she was roughly corrected by Petey on his third correction of her).
Candy is now learning how to play with Georgia and she loves to snuggle with us.

Well, I still need to write about my month with Miss E. and Mr. M. and how I got to be with them, but I have to share my exciting news first - I lost another pound!!!
Miss E. is SO excited and I feel so good about myself. Miss E. said I weight 18.5 lbs when I came to live with her and I am down to 14 lbs in a month. Miss E. helps me eat right by measuring out my food and if I am still feeling hungry, I get to eat green beans.
I feel so much better too - I am playing more with Miss E. and Georgia and I don't snore/weeze as much. Miss E. thinks that I still need to lose another pound or two so I don't have as many fat rolls around my chest and so the weezing will lessen more, but she says I look good and she can actually see my waist!
I just had to share the news - I'm glad I have someone to help me lose the weight :)
