Whatever you are kind enough to feed her. She does love chicken and rice.

Favorite Walk:
Anywhere. She walks GREAT on a leash!!!

Best Tricks:
She likes to pick up her food bowl when you feed her and carry it off. However, she no longer does that.... as she trusts me now.

Arrival Story:
We saw Simone one day on our bike ride in someones yard. I thought it was odd that I had never seen her before being she was an older dog. We continued to watch her, but over the past month or so her condition seemed to be going down hill. She was always outside... sometimes on the outside of her fenced in yard and I will let her back in. She looked terrible... covered with plants and all matted. This poor dog had absolutely no shelter. We finally called animal control and it took them a couple of weeks to finally get out there. It was determined that the owners didn't want the dog but they were afraid if she went to Animal Control she would be put to sleep due to her age.... so... that is how we ended up with her. So... we are now fostering her until we can find her a perfect forever home! Simone is such a friendly super sweet girl. She is house broken, crate trained and walks well on a leash. She even knows basic obedience.

Bio:
With the help of a local rescue organization named Rescue Rehab Home in Boca Raton Florida, Simone has found her forever home and is doing fantastic. And just look at her coat... look at the difference with the pictures at the top which was the day we picked her up and that was after two baths and a couple of brushings vs the pictures at the bottom after she had been taken care of. BIG DIFFERENCE!!! We actually met a couple of other potential families for Simone and it was as if no one was going to be good enough for her. Then we met Kirstin and Billy. I don't know what it was about those two but I just had this overwhelming feeling that they would be perfect for her. And they are. And I think she is perfect for them too!! :) It is as if it was fate that we were to find Simone and then meet Kirstin and Billy. We couldn't have asked for more perfect people to allow Simone into their home. THANK YOU KIRSTIN & BILLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Two months like a queen

I received a call from Simone's new owners last night. Simone had a heart attack and died. I can't believe it... we get her rescued from a yard where she was all alone 24/7 to such a wonderful new home and she only got to spend two months there.

They took such good care of her for the last two months. Simone got to live like a queen. I am so happy that they opened up their hearts and their home for Simone. She had the best two months of her life. And I will be forever grateful to this wonderful couple for adopting her.

Simone is currently visiting with us for the week while her new parents are away. She seems to be having a great time. She enjoys being around Bianca. I think she would prefer not to be around Bandit but they are doing OK together.

She has such a personality. She really is a sweetheart.

Simones new family is going on vacation in the middle of August. We are so excited as we get to babysit her while her new family is away. We can't wait to spend some time with Simone!!
