Bio: Bailey was injured by her mom. Bindi picked Bailey up by the head, a bit to hard causing a cut by her eye. While Bailey is healthy and happy, the injury caused her head to be a bit mishapen. Because of this Bailey's eyes will need monitoring for the rest of her life.
At first we thought she had lost sight in her left eye, but the vet and I both now believe she does have vision in that eye.
The fair was fun. I got lots of attention and was amazed and curious about all the strange sounds and smells.
I really thought it was funny watching Mom and her boyfriend chasing an escapee chick around. There were chickens with chicks in the children's barn we by. One of the chicks jumped out of the pen.
Mom went to catch it and told my human sisters to go the other door. Instead they ran straight at the chick sending it out into the road. 0_0
Mom went after it, got it out of the road, but it went under an SUV. Mom's boyfriend tried to reach under the SUV to grab the chick, who promptly jumped up into the undercarriage. Mom said Crap, its IN the SUV now! She told her bf to stand there and make sure no one moved it while she crawled under to fetch the chick.
So here's Mom laying under this SUV parked on the side of the road, looking for a chick. She found it, but couldn't grab it. It jumped down and headed back into the road. She started yelling Road, Road, its in the road again! Just then a car comes by, Mom is laying helpless under the SUV, she couldn't crawl out fast enough.
Boyfriend ran out and chased the chick back towards the childrens barn. Finally, an area they could corral the escapee. Mom took one door, boyfriend took the other. They closed in on the chick and boyfriend grabbed it and put it back in the pen. Safe at last.
