A day in...
Am I still 17 or do we get to start over again?September 2nd 2010 3:39 pm[ Leave A Comment | 5 people already have ] That's the question in my mind. My birthday is Aug 31, and my mom and my fabulous furiends from Doggie Connection remembered, as always. I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the birthday wishes, presents, rosies and hugs. You all make me feel very special indeed. Especially for an old guy! Well, maybe old.....that's the question. Now that I'm an angel, do we still celebrate our birthdays using our real years? Maybe when you become an angel, we get to start over again. In that case, I'd be 1 yr old again. Hmmmmm....maybe we don't even have to count the years as angels in that case it's just a remembrance of my birthday. Wow, I didn't know becoming an angel could be so complicated. bol! I'll just end by saying thank you once again to my furiends that remembered me and celebrated my special day with me and for being there for my family. As one could imagine, it was a little hard on them. I love you all!

I guess you now get to choose how old you are. I mean, you lived a happy life, but being 16 it's not an easy task. It's soooo much better to be... maybe 5 for the rest of your angel life. Is that cool or what??!! I can't run or jump as much as I did back in the days, but I sure was an amazing jumper when I was 5 :) Love you, pal! Jack Thank you Finley and Whitley. Yes, it was a very hard day for my family. My mom still hasn't reached the point yet that she can remember all the fun we had without crying. I've stopped by many times to comfort her. I think she knows it too. I would walk on the bed and she always would look to see who had jumped on the bed thinking it was one of my brofurs, but it was just me. She came to realize after a couple time that's what it must be. She said either it was me, or she was going crazy. bol! Jack, 5 is a wonderful age! Though I had a great life right from the beginning. Age does slow us down a bit, doesn't it? Don't worry my furiend, you may be a little slower then you used to be, but you're still every bit loved as much as you always were, if not more. Thanks, pal! And tell your mum that she's not crazy... I'm sure it's definitely you ;) |
