The Big Scary Beach

Today my mommy decided it was time that I experience the beach. My first thought was "what a scary place!!" There were lots of people and children everywhere and all that water! And I thought the tub was bad! Woof! Well, mom gave me some time to get used to the surroundings and then took me into the water, and guess what?! Ican swim!! Who would have thought?? I dont know where it came from, but I just started paddling! She made me swim all the way back to shore (we were only about 10 feet out but still! That is a lot of work for my little legs!)!! When we got out I was all wet and she insisted that her brave boy looked so cute that she had to take some pictures. Kodak moment, right? Me soaking wet and shivering and she wants to take pictures!! Typical Mommy. Grrr! But she dried me off with a big warm towel (after I had a few good shakes). She says that we will be going back to this beach place again this summer and maybe I will overcome my fear of it. Who knows? There are new Pics on my page of me swimming and soaking.

ICE CREAM!!!

Yesterday it was soo hot outside! So hot infact that Mommy decided to take her little boy and me out for icecream! I know that it isnt good for me and I'm not supposed to have people food, but my goodness it was heavenly. I didnt have my own of course, I just shared a spoon with mommy. But let me tell you what, I licked that spoon clean every time! I think I am in love!

MMMM Nylabones.....

So I tried out the nylabone my mommy got for me today. She has been trying to get me to chew on it for a week now, but i have been afraid. You see, I have some bad teeth that need to be removed, and mommy is saving so I can have the operation, and I was afraid that chewing might make them hurt. But so far so good! This bone is yummy...chew chew chew....mmmm.....
