Arrival Story:
Rocky used to live with a guy named Mike in an apartment in DC, and, although Mike really loved Rocky, his landlord didn't. So, Mike was forced to either be homeless or find a new home for him. My husband and I just happened to be looking for a pug, but didn't want to buy one from the pet store and didn't really know of any breeders in the area, so we put up an ad on Craigslist. Mike read the ad, and sent us an e-mail. He brought Rocky over the next weekend, and we absolutely fell in love with him. We handed Mike the check that same day.
