So Long Dear Furiend......only for now!

Iz losted my bestest furiend today! Captain Ernie George of Mounders, MN. He's quite famous you know! The angels took a long time preparing for his arrival at the "Rainbow Bridge", they insisted that everything was just perfect. All the furs were notified, the red carpet was rolled out, and with all the dignity befitting royality, Captain Ernie George accepted his "Lifetime Achievement Award" for all the grand work he did on earth! He was very loved & will be missed by many.....but especially by one little Shih Tzu! FUREVFUR MY FURIEND!

I is saying BIG prayers for my bestest furiend, Ernie George. He is very sick and I love him sooo much! Pweease think good thoughts and send comforts to his Mama 'cause she really needs them right now! Get well EG! Tiny Man needs you....Asher

Time has passed so quickly! I will be one year old Sunday 4/19. Mom says I am a big boy now! But Ernie George still calls me "Tiny Man". I have become the best watch dog....I let Mom know when there is a bird or a lizard in the backyard! I have even made friends with Miss Kitty, we like to run fast together! Everyone say "HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASHER! YEAH ME!!!

Busy Month!

Hi It's Asher! What a busy month August has been! I made it through my first Tropical Storm (Fay). Our whole front yard was under water and it was sooo hard to have to stay in the house. I didn't get to see the grass for 3 days! I had my "big boy surgery" Friday and it was a breeze. Mom was all spastic and treating me like a baby, but I played "keep away" with her and she couldn't catch me!! I weigh 11lbs and I got my first grooming! Now we are watching the track of "Hanna" and it looks like she's heading this way! I don't think I like Hurricane season! Come on November!

Another Vet Visit!

I am all done with my shots! I am 15 weeks old. I weigh 8 lbs. 10 oz. I am growing into such a big boy! In two weeks, Mom says I have to be neutered. I am not sure what that is but I hope it doesn't hurt! Yikes!

Absorbing Knowledge!!

Hi! It's Asher! I have been soooo busy! Chewing, running, wrestling & learning! Mom thought it was time to learn some manners. She bought a "clicker" at the pet store (thanks Kobe) and a jar of treats and the first night I learned to sit on command. We have worked so hard! I can now sit & stay, lay down & stand up on my hind legs! I think the clicker is magic! or maybe it's the PupPeroni! :) Either way, Mom says," Good Boy Asher!" a LOT!!!

Made It Through the Fireworks!

Wheeww! The fireworks are over, but I wasn't scared at all! We live very close to the river where the fireworks barges put on the show, and Mom thought I would be really scared, but I just kept on playing like nothing was going on at all. She was so proud of me! Muffyn wasn't even scared this year, I guess she is getting used to them!

I Was A Good Boy At The Vet!!

Hi, it's Asher! I just got home from my first vet visit since Mom adopted me! I had my 3rd series of puppy shots and the nice lady made sure I did not have any old creepy worms! I have grown sooo much! I weigh 5lbs 15oz. Mom calls me a "bottomless pit" 'cause I eat all of my food! (& treats), but I have so much energy, I burn it off fast. The vet said I am a healthy/happy boy! I was afraid of the big dogs! A pug wanted to be furiends, but I said "No, I want my mama"! As a reward, Mom is going to take me to the pet store for some new chew toys! Yeah.....

Such a Smart Boy!!

Hi, it's Asher! I am almost 10 weeks old now! I am growing so fast and learning so much! I have learned to use my pee pads if Mom can't get me outside in time! I have learned to bring my chew toy to Mom, so she can throw it again! I have learned that my big sister, Muffyn, gets some really good food, 'cause I steal it when she is not looking, even though Mom says, "No, Asher...puppy food only for your little tummy!" I am sleeping almost the entire night now and that makes Mom happy! And I have so many cool furiends on Dogster!!
