I'm still a young pup...But I'm learning! I know "sit", "come", "down" and am learning "heel"

Arrival Story:
Bella is a semi-rescue from a neighbor who could not keep her. I was not looking for a dog, especially while still grieving the loss of my dog Max, who passed away last year. He was my true partner and soul-mate and dedicated service dog. I have no idea what propelled me that day to offer to take the young Rottie pup in, especially one so energetic, so dominant, and so constantly on the go...But whenever I would cup here chin, I swear I could see Max's sparkling grin looking back at me. I feel as if somehow, some way, Max has nudged this special soul into my life right now. Exactly when I need her the most.

Bio:
Like most puppies, Bella loves to play...But she is also a very sensitive and creative soul. She has a secret passion of grabbing any toilet paper she can and then running full bore through the house and very deliberately arranging it one way or another. She cocks her head with deep intent and you can hear her artistic genius at work. We've learned to keep the toilet paper well out of reach, much to her utter disappointment. She is also quite the lover, and enjoys just crashing on my lap, (Usually head first where the rest of her body flumps over like a bag of oats). Then she gazes at me, and there is such depths of intelligence and passion in her eyes. Never have I met a dog with such "cat-like" attributes, but yet the partnership of her canine blood. I somehow feel even at this young age, Bella will be a true force of nature and nurture in our household, and I know she will be the true matriarch of both Caesar (our other Rottie) and Monty (our little Rat Terrier). Right now, Caesar is Bella's favorite play toy, and she takes great delight in running up to him, grasping him by his massive neck flews and hanging on him like a tenacious vampire bat. (Or sitting on his head, or running circles around the big guy until he falls down) or "goosing" his nub and running away with a michievious smile on her face. No matter what her artistic talent and occasional penchant for michief and naughtiness can come up with, she knows how to play us like a maestro plays a violin as she curls around your leg in a very cat-like move, rubbing her face against you and looking up at you with big loveable eyes. Her angelic halo in place. "Who me?" she seems to say. "I'm just loveable Bella!"

Bella in motion

There is a photo of me where I am sort of blurred as is the world around me. That is me, constantly in motion, like the stars around a night sky, or hummingbirds flitting in a garden.

As a young puppy, there is too much in the world going on, to investigate, to sniff, to play with, to merely sit still. Life is a great journey and I want to be at the head of the pack.

That handsome man holding me, is my owners son, and I also enjoy sharing love and insight with people. It sometimes is the only way to get photos of me, since I am always in motion, except when I am sleeping. I'm sure one day, my Mom will get a photo of me sleeping, angelically and innocent. Until then, the word is "play" and word is given, so therefore we PLAY! Wheeeeeee!
