Favorite Walk:
Maisie lives on 3 fenced-in acres of woods which she patrols regularly. She mostly covers the late afternoon and evening shift; Cooper patrols during the earlier part of the day.

Best Tricks:
She doesn't perform many tricks, leading one to believe she's not the sharpest dog. However, she can get open a babygate that most adults can't figure out how to open. We think she's smarter than she's letting on.

Arrival Story:
Maisie was rescued from Georgia and brought to a no-kill shelter in the northeast. We went to that shelter to look at another dog, but our first dog (who was with us) was drawn to Maisie. So were we--she wagged her whole body, trying to get us to notice her. She captured our hearts immediately!

Bio:
We really don't know how old she is. We do know that she'd had a litter of pups soon before we rescued her. We call her "Little Mama," and she acts like one (and like a Corgi), making sure everyone is doing what they're supposed to be doing in our household. She's very playful, and an incredibly fast runner, considering the length of her legs! We also think she's part terrier (feist or JRT?) because, boy, does she like to DIG! She'll spend hours digging after chipmunks and has dug 3 feet into the ground.
