My First Birthday!

Yesterday was my first birthday. I woke Mommy up and I went outside and I chased a squirrel around for a long time. Up 3 different trees! Then when Paw came home from work, Mommy gave me a new toy, she calls it "Hide a Squirrel", and I like to pull the squirrels out of the tree stump, and then I like to play fetch with them and hide them all over the house so Mom won't be able to find them. Hey, I'm 1 year old and I'm a smart Sheltie!

Halloween Treats!!

Last night Mommy came home from work and said "Let's go Trick or Treat! I heard "Let's Go" but I didn't know anything about "Trick or Treat". Mommy made me put on a pumpkin costume with a stupid hat thing that my ears had to stick out of. Mom said I was SOO cute. I guess it was OK, cuz, she gave me a treat, and then we went for a walk. I stopped by my friend Lucy's house, and she was dressed like a fire hydrant, and she was watching for all the little kids to walk up to her door, so she could say Hi to them. Mommy gave her some of my best treats, the chicken jerky, but that's ok, cuz I like Lucy and she gave me a treat! Then we left treats at Issy's house and at Kharma's and Kasey's house. There were lot's and lot's of kids in funny outfits running all around (dropping some candy too). I got lots of hugs and kisses, then we walked back home. Some more kids came in funny looking outfits, and I got more hugs and kisses and treats! I guess it was an OK night, cuz I got lots of treats!

The Dr Said I'm Good

Mommy came home tonight with extra hugs and kisses for me. She said that all the tests came back great, I don't have a bladder infection anymore and I don't have to worry about my kidneys anymore! They are a little small but they work just fine. Geez, I could have told her that! I don't know why I had to go to the stupid vet in the first place. But Mommy said that we have to know just in case.

Doctor's visit

Today I had to go to the Dr. and they stuck me with a needle and took some blood out of me and then I had to pee in a metal cup. Geez!! I had to even get an X-ray! When I came home, mom told Paw that I had small kidneys and I had a bladder infection, whatever that is. Now mom has to stick a pill down my throat everyday (Yuck) but it's ok cuz I get good treats after. Sure hope I get better soon.

day at the lake

Yesterday Mom took me to the lake! Boy did I ever have fun!! I go to go on a boat ride. The wind was fun in my hair. We went fast and there was lots of moviung stuff. Then I got to swim in the water. I LOVE to swim and jump around in the water. We ran around on the shore and then I rubbed myself dry on the sand! It was great fun! There were lots of boys to play with me and I was sooo tired at the end of the night that I slept all the way home in the car. Mom was tired too, she fell asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. I want to go back and play some more.
